Well I am sure could propose someone I think is more principaled, but think that would just get us into a subjective debate and off the main topic and frankly I never like to go to bat for politicans, because I don't trust them.

I am just wondering if you give him a free pass on lying because he is more conservative then other Senators. If you like him, fine, do what you think, I am just wondering how you came to your conclusion about Cruz.

Harry Reid was in a class all his own. Not only a liar, but corrupt to the core. Now my original comment was a passing comment, it wasn't meant to make your eyes bleed like they are now, causing you to take the flag and debate this to your last breath. So calm down.

I am calm, I am merely curious not angry, I am trying to explore something deeper with this comment, there is no anger behind my posts, I am just curious.

If I cared at all about Harry Reid, I may be angry, but since I do not care about him, you can insult him all you want.

I merely wondered if some people deem a political as principaled by those who they attack, rather then how they honest they are.

That's my point, if you think I care one way or another about Reid, you are mistaken.

Well that link is just a convient place to see any untrue statement Cruz and frankly I don't feel like posting all those here, because it would be a giant wall of text. But yeah, you asked what lies, they are in that link.

Well, I don't do reading assignments, I can Google info that I need. If there's nothing here but a link, well I can search the web on my own. I find that those links are usually to sites that are biased, one way or the other.

And I have no desire to post a wall of text in order to post any untrue statement and its context from that site, so we are at an impase.

But really you can find anything on any untrue statement Cruz made on Google, so again I wonder if you are saying Cruz is the most principaled man in the Senate because you studied his honesty vs. other Senators or are you making a purely partisan assumption?

If I'm saying he's the most principled person in the Senate, I'm not about to go find a lie that he told and post it. Even if i did, that would not mean my statement was untrue. I would think that someone that disagrees would do that or, try to show that others are more principled. That didn't happen.

I can't prove your statement is untrue, because its an opinion statement, not a factual one, its pretty hard to disprove an opinion statement, unless its really out there. Hey if you like Ted Cruz, fine, that's your opinion.

I am not trying to disprove your opinion, I am asking how you formed it. Do you think Cruz is more principaled because he is more conservative and because that you give him a pass on things you wouldn't give a pass to for other Senators?

He is a principled conservative. He votes the way I like 97% of the time, about. So, not much to give him a pass on at all. A guy like Schumer is at 2%, he sucks and is anti Constitution in my mind.

I noticed Politifact has Obama rated as telling the truth much more highly than Cruz. That tells me all I need to know about them.

So if Cruz tells a lie is that more acceptable then Schumer telling a lie? Because I can find more stuff besides that one site, I can post the links, but you said would not bother to read them, so what's the point?

What I am saying is I think you only think Cruz is more principaled simply because he is more conservative, so you will ignore things with him that you wouldn't with others.

He's a principled conservative, that's a good thing. Someone can be just as principled as a Marxist, but I don't consider that good.

If they call Cruz a liar because he misquoted Hillary, that doesn't have nearly the affect of Obama lying about keeping your doctor or plan. Not nearly the same thing. I have the feeling that a site like Politifact just counts them both as equal.
