If this nutter is going to dial it to 11, his base premise should at least make some kind of sense. At least that utter **** who blamed the Haiti quake on homosexuals managed to pick an event that could at least be seen as a bad thing.

Mellowed out? Obviously the new covenant didn't include political elections or which football team wins.

I wonder where God was during the year and a half, plus of Obama's presidential campaign and on election day in November of 2008? Does Obama's being elected fall under the "free will" claim made by religious organizations?

Speaking of free will. Since most people of faith claim that God often intervenes in human affairs via answering prayers or bestowing miracles at will, which of course would change the course of human free will. Could this mean that God didn't answer conservative/republican prayers for a McCain presidency win? Or did Palin just piss off God?

Yeah, God did this and God did that. We have God to thank for everything. Hmmm, so I guess that means we have God to thank for all the crime, terrorism, violence, disease, and death in the world too.

IDK about god but Palin was the reason I didn't vote for him.
 
On the spectrum of divine retribution, two-and-a-half minutes of darkness on a summer day is pretty mild. I guess God ain't that upset with Barak after all. But if you want plagues upon the nation, then look,no further than the strife and division which Mr. Trmp is fostering either intentionally or unintentionally among his fellow citizens. That is pretty damned "biblical" vengence. And the waters of the Sea of Politics did run orange and the people did quail and lament before the Lord's righteous anger. "Behold the Trump, Archangel of disorder and chaos. I cast him among you and set him to rule above you, that you might know my anger at humanity's arrogance and hubris!" Ecce enim hic Angelus Chao est!
