Scaramucci still stands to profit from SkyBridge from the White House

New White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci

Anthony Scaramucci finally has his White House job, but he still stands to profit from an ownership stake in his investment firm SkyBridge Capital. The incoming White House communications director earned $4.9 million from his ownership stake in SkyBridge in addition to more than $5 million in salary between Jan. 1, 2016, and the end of June, when he joined the Export-Import Bank, according to a financial disclosure filed with the Office of Government Ethics. The disclosure form, which is publicly available upon request, hasn’t been previously reported. The disclosure highlights the extensive wealth Scaramucci has accumulated in his career — much like many of Trump’s other top advisers and Cabinet secretaries — and also the challenge he faces in extracting himself from the potential conflicts his investments could pose.

Scaramucci’s financial filing values SkyBridge Capital at more than $50 million and states that he owns nearly 44 percent of the firm. When the sale of the company is completed, expected to be in the third quarter of this year, he will receive “the agreed-upon purchase price for his share of the sale proceeds,” according to the filing. Bloomberg valued the Skybridge deal at between $200 million and $230 million when it was announced in January. “It’s black and white that he’s going to get money,” said Austin Evers, executive director at American Oversight, a watchdog group that focuses on transparency in government. The SkyBridge website continues to advertise Scaramucci as the firm's managing director, despite the fact that he has been a government employee for more than a month.

He is yet another low life piece of crap, worthy only of Trump.
The moron with a Harvard education does not know that financial disclosure forms are public and wants to inform the FBI.

"Restock the Swamp!"

I posted earlier that "draining the swamp" according to the golfer in Chief, means there will be room for fairways and greens!

This may top the appointment of Carl Icahn as special advisor. Icahn is setting policy, while investing in stocks affected by the policies. Trump is all about the 1%ers.

Mooch maybe Trumps most brilliant hire ever....

Hum. I got this reframe in my head now.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramucchi Scaramucchi will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning,
Very, very frightening me.

Mooch maybe Trumps most brilliant hire ever....

Pretty low bar there, his 'most brilliant hire' is set against Flynn, Sessions, Prebius, Bannon, Spicer, Conway....

Yeah hiring a guy who revels in the nickname- 'The Mooch', BRILLANT!!!!!! :peace

Why is this a problem for you?

We should all have a problem with someone who campaigned railing against Goldman Sachs filling high offices with Goldman Sachs executives. The hypocrisy should be enough, not to mention obvious lying. The second problem is that the Mooch just isn't qualified for his job. The third is that he seems to have a serious conflict of interest. Besides those, nobody should have any trouble with this appointment.

Im not well versed about his company but going from what the article says I am not really seeing what the problem here is.

1. What does goldman sachs have to do with this?
2. According to the article he is in the process of selling his interests in the company and the deal should be completed before he starts his new position
3. The only thing I read that is worth watching is something about Trump having the authority of the presidency to either approve or deny the deal. That is only a problem if theres something in the deal that normally would not be approved but he is providing a special favor to get it OKed.

Bottom line is that the guy is coming from the private sector to serve the potus and he is in the process of seperating himself from his previously held position. I dont see a problem with that and even if he kept his shares and comtinued to profit from it, that is not illegal. Sadly in fact its common practice for people in congress to have a stake in companies that are awarded gov contracts. If you want to ban that practice I would join you in calling for a law to make that illegal.

It is like Queen songs. "Scaramucci, Scaramucci can you do the Vandango."

"Another one bites the dust..."
