Report: Jeff Sessions Lied – Again – About His Involvement with Russia

In a blockbuster story, the Washington Post reports that Sergey Kislyak, the Russian Ambassador to the United States, told his superiors that he had detailed conversations with Attorney General Jeff Sessions about Russia policy during the runup to the 2016 election. If true, it means that Jeff Sessions straightforwardly perjured himself during his confirmation hearings in January, then repeatedly lied when he tried to explain why he hadn’t.

Jeff Sessions May Have Lied About Russia Again

What do we speculate from this latest rumor? Do you think Trump Surrogates leaked this story to further damage Sessions public image and pressure him to resign?

I have nicknamed Sessions "The Little Weasel".

And you want to believe the Russian why? I would have to say Russian influence has been accomplished.

Because once the meeting/talk/money exchange has been exposed the Trump team 'fesses up. I'd say the Russian influence verification has been accomplished... :peace

The Russians are all liars...remember?

1. No.
2. The influence I spoke to is to drive both sides against each other more than they previously were.

Sergey Kislyak also said he met with Clinton campaign staff during the election yet that story is ignored.

The Libbos are taking it hook, line and sinker

Sergey Kislyak also said he met with Clinton campaign staff during the election yet that story is ignored.

If you have made a true statement, I can understand why Media with a Left of Center bias may have ignored this Clinton campaign staff met with Kislyak story. Why do you think Media with a Right of Center bias have not run with the story?

Obama talked to the Russians, too. He even asked the to chill out on invading Ukraine until after he was elected and then It would be OKecause they were white.

Why was that Ok?

In fact what kind of meeting is OK, and what isn't?

I don't know if it's true or not, point being, why would Kislyak be taken at his word in this instance and ignored other times ??

Because they realize not all meetings are "freak out worthy".

All of a sudden what Sergey Kislyak claims to have happened is now considered a trusting source?

The reliability of what anonymous sources describe in a wholly uncorroborated intelligence intercept that the Washington Post has not seen all of a sudden is enough info to declare Sessions a liar?
Wow, unreal.

This time it suits the White House.

Obama talked to the Russians, too. He even asked the to chill out on invading Ukraine until after he was elected and then It would be OKecause they were white.

Oh stop

Can you show me were you got that information from?

I don't know if you read this quote in the linked article from the OP?

The account is not corroborated by other sources, and it is possible that Kislyak was misrepresenting his conversations with Sessions – though the Post notes that Kislyak “has a reputation for accurately relaying details about his interactions with officials in Washington.”

Sessions, under Oath, has made statements indicating he did not talk about the election with Kislyak. You seem to believe him more than I do. Sessions Boss, Trump the Chump, doesn't seem very enthused about Sessions agreement to recuse himself from the Russian Collusion Investigation. Do you still think Sessions should hang in there as AG under current circumstances?

I think what gets the Trump camp in trouble time and time again (especially on this issue) is the lying. It is the lying that makes it feel like there is a "there there". Well the warnings and obstructions don't help either.

1. yeah pretty much, each new news reports prompts an admission, followed by a justification and an angry tweet from our ranter in chief.

2. have you been paying attention to the bitter fights over immigration, the wall, and 'repeal and replace' massive fails? Russia adds nothing to the divide, in fact Russia is actually creating a bi-partisan front toward them... :peace

Because they realize not all meetings are "freak out worthy".

Please give some of us a Grin by expounding on the what is and what is not a "freak out worthy" meeting.

Perhaps if your concept and standards of "freak out worthy" meetings gains traction in the public domain, you can influence Mueller's Team in how they conduct their Russian Meddling Investigation.

Sources please. A direct quote of Obama talking about the invade-ability of a nation based on their majority skin color would be nice.

You seem to believe Russians and anonymous sources more than I do.

Don't really care what Season's decides or Trump decides to do about Session's.

Since when do we need facts for our witch hunts.:lamo:lamo

Today: The Russians are coming. The Russians are coming.

In the 50's and 60's: The communist are coming. The communist are coming.

In kindergarten: The sky is falling. The sky is falling.

OK the Russians keep schooling the democrats. We get it. Let's all tell Putin to stop and move on.

Now can we get back to fixing our health care nightmare, our immigration nightmare, our infrastructure nightmare, North Korea, ISIS, and all the real problems.

When it comes to casting judgment on The Little Weasel's integrity involving contact and context with the Russian government, I factor in one Russian and one anonymous source at a time.

What I conclude doesn't carry much weight in whether he stays or goes. If you don't care about The Little Weasel's future, what motivates you to actively post in this thread?

Well, Al, I'm from the MSM and can characterize it any way I want. Obama said basically, behave yourself and when I'm president I'll look the other way as you eat a "buffer state". And they did. And the MSM hardly spoke about it until it was over. True, Putin broke his word to name it "Obamastan".

Sorry to trigger you. ;).
