House Democrat introduces article of impeachment against Trump

“I am introducing Articles of Impeachment to begin a long process to protect our country from abuse of power, obstruction of justice, and impulsive, ignorant incompetence.”
 
FFS, are the Dems really going to start parroting the ACA repeal stunts?

They have no chance of getting anywhere near the votes for this until something happens that causes the GOP to calculate that it actually won't hurt their re-election chances to impeach their own President. We're nowhere near that point.







What they should really be doing is introducing their own legislation to patch up Obamacare, work on infrastructure, etc. If the GOP kills it, then at least they can turn to voters in 2018 and say "see? We had ideas, the GOP didn't. Give us another chance."

If they keep on with the impeachment routine, they'll just look silly (well, that is, until/unless there's a clear impeachable offense).

I guess this will be the democrat version of the deliberate D.O.A. Obama-care repeal bill that republicans would pass numerous times while Obama was president(but for season seemed to stop once Trump because president) in order to make it appear as though they were doing what their voters wanted. There is no way in hell this will pass both houses and even if it did there is no way in hell Trump would sign. Any republican signing the bill would be deemed a traitor to their party by their voters and would never see the light of day in another term. Loony lib-tard democrats will vote for it,But sane ones won't.

Come on, Slick Willy lied under oath.

I think it was a gross and cynical political maneuvering that put him in the position of being asked the question. Once the investigation turned into trying to find out if Bill cheated on Hillary, I think it should have ended. That's a private matter. But, I do not think that means it's any less of a big deal for him to perjure himself.









Consider the personal analogy. You are falsely accused of a crime. Does that entitle you to commit perjury at your trial? Excuse it in some way?

Let's say we get there at some point.



We will then have to ask ourselves whether we really want a Pence-Ryan White House. Perhaps the additional maturity (or show of maturity) would repair our standing, but the problem is that they'd be more effective than Trump at what they want to do, and what they want to do is very very bad.

There are only very very bad answers for the next four years. Well, hopefully, just two. But I haven't bothered to find out how many seats are up for grabs in 2018.

I know, but Pence-Ryan will just Destroy peoples lives and they can get back at them at the Voting booth ... but right now, Trump is an Embarrassment to the office and I don't his stench can be removed for Decades.

The fact is there are no actual lies; Sometimes President Trump honestly gets things wrong, or he is purposely taken out of context by Leftist to claim he is lying. He also like most highly successful Alpha Males he is a bit of a peacock and braggart. But there are no lies that come anywhere close to "You can keep your doctor" , "Benghazi was caused by a video" or "17 intelligence agencies say there was collusion."

Just as they didn't vote against Nixon--they simply told him to resign--it's different 44 years later with McConnell, Ryan and Pence being geaviky involved, IMO.

I've previously mentioned that there were 2 WH wings, family and bannon. It's hard to guess how many tentacles are leaking on each other now, with the family after Priebus .

The successes of Reagan (especially economic) destroyed the legacy of Carter and exposed his policies and Leftist ideology for the disastrous failures they were.

The successes of Trump are doing the exact same to Obama only a lot quicker.

This is driving Leftist Democrats insane.

They can’t win with better policies because they have none. The only way they can fight back is to distract with useless crap/lies like this.

Partisan grandstanding that has no chance of succeeding. They're really going to impeach the president with his own party in charge of Congress? I'll believe that when I see it.

Just be patient. The Trump Administration will hang itself if given enough rope.

In Nixon's time there was no internet , social media and opposition media.Those republicans would be found out,deemed traitors to their party and never serve another term in office.
