NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offended

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

wellll.....

Right here you are playing coy and calling me a "hack" and "slobberingly stupid" who is holding these tweets up as represetative of the "ENTIRE OTHER SIDE." So... you wanna recant now or are you going to keep clinging to this BS you are spewing while simultaneously playing the victim?

No, because hacks on both sides do in fact do this.

What I said about YOU is that you jumped on those few tweeters like a hyena and that you were broadbrushing:

I'm NOT that, and it's not a matter of pride; not hacking it up is about as much to be "proud" of as remembering to put pants on before leaving the house.

You, however, jumped all over this like a hyena on carrion.

You were painting with as broad a brush as possible, when in reality, it was a couple of randos on Twitter and nothing more. You know this, I know this, and any honest reader of the OP knows it.

Which you will not admit, even though it's glaringly obvious.

I'm sorry your OP sucks and reeks of hackishness, but it does.

Why can't you simply own up to what you said? Why is this so hard for you?

What are you talking about?

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

What are you talking about?

And there's your schtick.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

And there's your schtick.

Huh? I've been straightforward through this whole thread. I'm sorry to have hurt your feelings, but you just plain misread me.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

The court can't make The Constitution mean whatever it wants. That's the right side of the issue.

You're right. It is the right that wants to court to make the Constitution mean whatever it wants, but only if they can get enough of their own on the court.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

Much better that buzzfeed as sources. Of course, all that proves is that there are a lot of idiots on twitter. The shortened version of twitter is twit after all.

There are lots of idiots everywhere online. It's not exclusive to Twitter nor does it mean that anyone who uses Twitter is a "twit". It's simply a place to discuss whatever you'd like to discuss --- just like this forum.

Yep. and we've elected the arch twit to the White House.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

It is so ridiculously telling that when Trump supporters hear:

"A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."

they immediately jump to defend him.

It would priceless to watch their faces when it is explained that they are actually defending King George.

Well.. 90% of anything is stupid... and when you got only 140 characters, the stupid comes out easier.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

Clearly I am, as you are not the OP.

But now you're making the same mistake as the OP.

Oh. And what would that be?

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

Oh. And what would that be?

Taking a few idiotic tweets and pretending they represent a larger whole.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

How do you know the people who were complaining were even Americans much less trump supporters?

There are a lot of America hating foreigners posting on twitter and a lot of fence sittiers who hate everyone

Come on, Mac 77, we know that most of America is not happy without President and his supporters. And the fact is that the snowflake supporters of President Trump cannot take what they attempt to dish. There are a number of other venues in which posters are banned when they squash the far right.

You would do well to read posts more carefully. Clearly you are not. Feel free to demonstrate my generalization. Good luck with that.

OK.

The stupidity demonstrated by Trumpettes is quite entertaining.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

People who think The Supreme Court can interpret The Constitution how it pleases probably shouldn't say anything.

Um, stay on topic. It was the Declaration not the Constitution.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

The court can't make The Constitution mean whatever it wants. That's the right side of the issue.

Yes, they can. But the fact that 45 supporters were unaware of the Declaration of Independence, and maybe you too, is really ignorant. And telling.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

...I think I may still be having trouble processing the fact that people can be this stupid.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

Some of that right-wing crew that spews the term "snowflake" at everyone else just got AAAAALLLLLL offended because NPR tweeted lines from the Declaration of Independence. It offended them. The eternal victims believed they were being attacked by the liberal media.

One of these geniuses even called it "propoganda". Another trumpette called it "trash" while others where using expletives to show their outrage.

More proof that Idiocracy was a documentary.

Such delicate snowflakes.

Re: NPR Tweeted The Declaration Of Independence And Some Trump Supporters Were Offend

Hacks on both the left and the right LOVE to hold the entire other side responsible for a couple of random Tweets, and it's just as slobberingly stupid no matter who does it.

Ummm, Powerob's first sentence states, "Some of that right-wing crew..."

'Some' does not mean 'all.'

Yup, like the Russians interfered with our election. Yes, we know that most Americans would prefer for Trump to step down and go away.

If you think the russians hacked the DNC and revealed the ugly side of hillary and her minons in the democrat party thats possible but unproven.
