Looks like some folks are getting upset with the corruption.

One of the Justice Department’s top corporate crime watchdogs has resigned, declaring that she cannot enforce ethics laws against companies while, she asserts, her own bosses in the Trump administration have been engaging in conduct that she said she would never tolerate in corporations.

Hui Chen -- a former Pfizer and Microsoft lawyer who also was a federal prosecutor -- had been the department’s compliance counsel. She left the department in June and broke her silence about her move in a recent LinkedIn post that sounded an alarm about the Trump administration’s behavior.

So the Trump admin isn't preventing her from doing her job. She reminds me of that Secret Service traitor who declared she couldn't do her job too. What is it with these Hillary Clinton infiltrators openly declaring that they lack the competence to do their jobs?

After reading the article it looks like she quit because her department was inevitably going to be facing budget cuts. And it's laughable that anyone from Obama's admin could complain about business ethics when the LifeLine program had 36% of it's users ineligble. She left because she was about to get fired.

Take these choice comments for example...

“The management of the Criminal Division, of which the Fraud Section is a part, has persistently prohibited me from public speaking.”
Not supposed to speak about ongoing investigations.

Microsoft which recently had to settle multi-million dollar lawsuits? She was an ethics advisor? lol

Even as I engaged in those questioning and evaluations, on my mind were the numerous lawsuits pending against the President of the United States for everything from violations of the Constitution to conflict of interest, the ongoing investigations of potentially treasonous conducts, and the investigators and prosecutors fired for their pursuits of principles and facts.
This has nothing to do with her job. Sounds like she was a loudmouth trouble-maker and too inept to fulfill her duties, which is saying something because she's a government worker.

Called it. She's a liberal activist and is part of the shadow government that was obstructing the administration. Another one bites the dust.

Looks more like some people are highly impressed by superficial pronouncements and don't dig too deep.

And some people like to protect their side, and are 'see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil'

Hehe, you just broke the irony meter.

Look, reality check is the lady left to pursue political activism. Trump won and her brand of activist washington insider days were through. That's all there was to this lady.

umm I guess if you ignore where this prosecutor is a flake and simply just didn't want to do her job.

Prove it.

So, how does that translate to 'Not wanting to do her job'?? Please explain your axioms.

what the president does or says has no bearing on her doing what she is supposed to do. pretty simple.
unless the president has ordered her to not do it she has the same responsibility as she did before.

evidently she doesn't want to do her job and is making up excuses it has nothing to do with trump.

You didn't read the article. It wasn't want the president was doing, ti was the fact her bosses were doing the very things she was supposed to be fighting against... well, Trump appointed her bosses.

She went on a rant about Trump. Not her bosses. Looks like you didn't even read your own article...

Another Trump hater who's more focused on spinning a narrative than reviewing the facts.

so she says. we have nothing to go on but her word.
where is her evidence that they are actually breaking the law?

Who said anything about law,.. this was a statement about ethics. As for ethical behavior, there has been a pattern of bad ethics from this administration.. and it fits that pattern.

Surely you'd be so kind as to outline that pattern. You can do that, can't you?

Why yes, we can start with the highest level. Trump and Trump tower in NYC. To 'protect' Trump when melanie was there, the secret service had to rent a full floor from Trump to protect trump. It cost over a million dollars for rent. That means that Trump was making money from the government by renting floor space to the government to protect him because he was president. Defense Department Renting At Trump Tower Is Another Step Into Ethical Murk : The Two-Way : NPR

Then there is the AMAZING coincidence that after the day Trump met the Chinese PM< Ivanka trump got awarded Chinese trademarks. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...na-trademarks-day-us-president-met-xi-jinping

The mere fact that Trump has Ivanka and Jared working at the white house at all is a lapse in ethical standards .. Ivanka Trump's White House job is unethical and dangerous - Chicago Tribune

Is that enough, or do you want more?? If so, how many more do you think would suffice? Mind you, this is just a few of the cases where Trump or his family is personally involved, We can go further afield also, so a number of his political appointees too.

Way to try and derail your own thread. So you're admitting this woman was refusing to do her job and it had nothing to do with what you initially said in the op.

Yeah, look who's talking! :lamo

There is an old adage in politics, "When your opponent is committing suicide, don't get in his way." Please, 5 more examples would be lovely.
