[h=1]What Are They Trying to Hide?' President Trump Questions 25 States Refusing to Hand Over Voter Information[/h]
Trump tweeted about the subject Saturday morning writing, "Numerous states are refusing to give information to the very distinguished VOTER FRAUD PANEL. What are they trying to hide?"

Oh the delicious irony. :lamo

The other thread goes into detail on what kind of private voter information each state is legally allowed to provide and/or make public. Also covered in that thread is the inherent distrust of the man making that request whose motives are in extreme doubt because of his unsubstantiated claims about voter fraud.

So we'll just ask a few other questions on point regarding this tweet:

1)Why are we obligated to give the President so much of our private information when he's kept a death grip on his tax returns all these years?
2)If the President asked you personally for your name, address, date of birth, partial social security number, political party and criminal record, and relied on him to keep that information safe and not to abuse it in any way, would you give it to him?
3)Bonus hypothetical question: if President Obama had asked you personally for your name, address, date of birth, partial social security number, political party and criminal record, and relied on him to keep that information safe and not to abuse it in any way, would you give it to him?
4)Alternate Reality Super Funtime Bonus Question: If Hillary Clinton had won the electoral vote but lost the popular vote, and felt super insecure about her victory, even going so far as to openly doubt the electoral outcome in states that voted against her, and obsessed over the election in the eight months since then, would you provide her with your name, address, date of birth, partial social security number, political party and criminal record, and rely on her to keep that information safe and not to abuse it in any way?

Do I need to beat this horse any longer or have I made my point?

Exactly the point.

Hide? They just dont want their personal information to be public as this so called commission will publish it all.

Evidence? Source?

That word, "irony", it doesn't mean what you think it means. ;)

Nice to see Trump admit that refusing to hand over critical information is indicative of someone hiding something.

Yes, the irony is delicious. Your blind loyalty nothwithstanding.

Maybe that's a good reason to prove there is not voter fraud or if there is, how bad is it? Is that not the objective of the panel looking into this voter fraud issue?

Ah yes, the people worried about the federal government is out to get all of your secrets, is now supporting an investigation being led by the federal government into getting your information.

I'll ask the same question I asked before and nobody has answered. President Trump said that 5,000,000 people voted illegally. Where was his evidence?

Why isn't the probe asking him for it?

Where are your tax returns you hypocrite? What are you hiding?

President Trump, follow legal protocol in getting state records.

But don't think for a moment that most of the states are going to let you go on a fishing expedition.

There are two alternatives:

Either there was massive voter fraud, or

the American electorate was foolish enough to have elected a reality TV star who doesn't seem to understand the need for the Fifth Amendment to the highest office in the land.

Of the two, I hope we do find that there was massive fraud, but I'm afraid the answer is #2

I have nothing to hide but i dont want the gov spying on me. Go get a warrant if you think you got probable cause.

I dont want the gov checking me out to own a gun or looking at my medical records. Nor so i want tsa patting me down at the airport or nsa looking at my communications.

All this crap needs to stop. The gov and most of you are too damn nosey for my tastes.

What you responded to was the part of my post quite specifically covered at length in the other thread. The part you edited out is the meat of my post meant for this thread.

I think you missed my point. But ok.

If you are trying to get into Trump's head, that will require an anal probe.

well, I'm sure Trump realizes (maybe not ) something called the electoral college so, he did not need the extra 5 million votes :2wave:

but on the other hand maybe he needs that probe :lamo

That's the problem - I don't believe there is any. He just can't stand that he lost the popular vote. The crowd at his inauguration was not the biggest ever. The ego trip is horrifying. This is not a guy who is interested in being president - king or dictator...yes - president of all American Citizens. No.

#2 for sure

I would think that is the job of state election commissions to review whether or not voter fraud took place because it is the states who are holding the elections, not the federal government so I am not sure why it is not just respecting the states electoral boards to decide whether or not there is a reason to review/look for massive voter fraud (which I doubt took place in the first place)
