You don't know collusion didn't happen because the investigation has not concluded, but I understand (actually, as an American, I don't understand) your partisan need to sweep anything critical about your Great Leader, under the carpet.

But it is interesting that Trump originally claimed that there wasn't any hacking by the Russians -- and the hacks could have been done by a fat teenager in a basement. Now, we know conclusively that the Russians hacked for the purpose of aiding Trump. Now, Trump's narrative is that Obama should have done more to stop the Russians from helping Trump win. His next narrative will be, 'oh, those Russians? Yeah, I forgot we colluded with them.'

I'm not a Trump fan. Are you new around here or something?

If "nothing happened" like we have been told time and again by Trump and his acolytes, why the concern that Obama didn't do anything. I think no action is an appropriate response to nothing.

No...collusion didn't happen. And yes...if there WAS any hacking or election interference by the Russians (even though everyone wants to believe that ridiculous "intel community report, rational minds don't accept it at face value...especially considering it came from the Obama administration) it happened long before Trump won the election. So yeah...why DIDN'T Obama do something about it?

Now...That WaPo report was full of after-the-fact rationalization and explanation that all boils down to Obama wanting to help Hillary. Seems to me THAT'S the real collusion we need to be investigating.

btw, people seem to want to deflect from Obama's lack of action by question Trump's "lack of action". Fact is, it's likely that there is nothing for Trump to act on, since this whole "Russia" thing is a fabrication.

Anything to keep the Russia ball rolling. If that goes away, the party of no ideas will have to go back to whining about golf, ice cream, and Mar-a-Lago.

let's think about that
the election is pending
and Obama comes out and tells the nation the russians are trying to manipulate our national election to make sure hillary loses
and you want us to now believe your side would have thought: what a great disclosure by Obama to assure a fair election
you now want us to believe that the alt:white would have been ok with Obama making such a public disclosure immediately prior to the presidential election
not even you could actually believe that to be a valid criticism of Obama
 
It's going to be great when Trump resigns or gets impeached.

the only person worse than pence as president would be a president cruz

so, if a republican congress impeached tRump, it would only be to install pence in his stead

Since nothing happened, the appropriate action from Obama would have been to do nothing. However, since he's the one who said something happened, he should have done something...instead of nothing. He can't have it both ways. What's appropriate is up to him.

I'm not upset about a Democrat trying to help a Democrat. I'm upset about a Democrat using the power and resources of the Executive Branch to help a Democrat. That's against the law and should be investigated.

No...I'm not new to this.

I think Obama did nothing because he wanted Hillary to lose. I don't think he likes her either. Maybe he is smarter than I thought.
 
Outside of whatever Obama had our intelligence services doing regarding Russian hacking, which we don't know and likely won't be revealed since it's very likely classified, what exactly was Obama supposed to do? If he had come out and publicly stated "The Russians are trying to get Donald Trump elected," how would THAT have gone over?

But that's what they ultimately want, IMO.

I actually believe the establishment GOP hates Trump even more than the Democrats. They'll just use that clown to get their precious tax cuts passed, and then throw him to the wolves.
