:doh I'm not talking classified or not. I have been convinced it was not. I am talking about when he testified in June, he said he decided to leak the memo on the May 12th. He lied, since he leaked it before that, or parts of it wouldn't have showed up in the news on May 11th.
And, again, by this definition, a "leak" means sharing any details of any private conversation with Trump with anyone. And he didn't "lie" about anything. He was asked, on May 3, were you the source for any news story. On that date, the answer was no. He was NOT asked, "have you shared the details of any conversation with Trump with any of your friends or advisors" nor could he see in the future and know that Witte or others would "leak" those conversations with Comey to the press.
When he testified in June, EVERYONE up there, the Senators, that gave one damn had read Witte's accounts of his conversations with Comey about the Trump meeting and other conversations. They did not ask about those conversations. They DID ask about the memo, and he testified entirely truthful about how, to whom, and why he leaked that memo.
If you want to say he "lied" then provide the question asked Comey and the lie he told, and be specific. I'd like quotes of both so we can both know exactly what was asked and what the response was.
