I saw this earlier today. He doesn't know what he's doing most of the time.
 
Immigrant households use welfare at significantly higher rates than native households, including new arrivals.

Perhaps Trump wants to strengthen the existing law since it doesn't seem to be effective.

He's right in that we need a law that mandates enforcement of the law. Illegal immigrants are already a heavy burden on taxpayers as they collect welfare.

Looks like we came to the same conclusion. These illegal immigrant sympathizers would rather see American children starve to death while watching illegal immigrants collecting wealthcare.

What do you mean by welfare? Women with Children? Who else can get welfare? Food stamps? If someone is so sick they can't get out and work then why should I complain if they get some food stamps to contribute to their household?

Good luck everybody, I don't know what the Hell to do about immigration.

I agree. welfare benefits should be restricted to US citizens....and even then with some obvious exceptions, welfare assistance should come with an expiration date. Call it tough love.
 
I think it's smart of Trump to say he will do things that are already done. He is building a fake list of accomplishments he can cart out if he runs for re-election.

It there was not an economic need for both illegal and legal immigrates they would not be here.

Apparently 50 million are too sick to get out and work. Up from 17 million 8 years ago. If the're still too sick to work Obamacare must not be working.

Don't get me started on disability. I know too many people who's only disability is too many drugs. But we weren't talking about disability, just food stamps.

2017 is post Trump, so we could say the decrease is due to President Trump's policies.
