WASHINGTON (AP) — A friend of the president says Donald Trump is considering "terminating" special counsel Robert Mueller.

Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy tells Judy Woodruff of "PBS NewsHour": "I think he's considering perhaps terminating the special counsel. I think he's weighing that option."

The White House did not immediately respond to questions about Ruddy's claims.

Under current Justice Department regulations, such a firing would have to be done by Attorney General Jeff Sessions' deputy, Rod Rosenstein, not the president— though those regulations could theoretically be set aside.

Again? How many times has their been a report about Trump firing Mueller since the beginning of the probe in May? Dozens? It's like they use the same article and just change dates.

The isolation of existing down under is a long way for any of us to go never mind follow.

We are talking about the guy who fired Comey. The direct consequence of the firing was Trump being presented with Meuller. Youse over there might think for a moment to consider who and what could follow if Trump fired Meuller.

We know not only does Trump want to fire Meuller, Trump knows he must fire Meuller or else to the Trump presidency. The only question is whether Trump will do it or try to do it.

Comey and Meuller are two FBI guys who are lawyers born in Manhattan and who consider Russia the principal strategic adversary of the United States. This is a world view each shares with the FBI, CIA, DIA, NSA and so on to include the Pentagon.

Your idiosyncratic concerns are immaterial, irrelevant, marginal at best to the national security of the United States to include of your own country down there.

You are posting about Hillary Clinton to a thread about Trump and Meuller and actual charges filed by the office of special counsel with one guilty plea entered and a trial pending against Manafort and Short for "Conspiracy Against The United States."

Admittedly all of this and more is a long way from New Zealand so I'm trying to introduce some proper focus to your posts thx.
