Trump fbi nominee christopher wray gave inappropriate briefings to john ashcroft duri

Re: Trump fbi nominee christopher wray gave inappropriate briefings to john ashcroft

Take it up with your own article; I "said it" just like it did.

This doesn't answer what was "inappropriate" about the briefings.

I quoted from my article...

He took several briefings and oversaw the probe for months before recusing himself. It was inappropriate because he should have immediately recused himself due to the nature of his relationship with those under investigation. Instead he made sure his buddies got off scott free. And Christopher Wray helped him.

How is this a hard concept to understand?

This is nuts. You're saying it's inappropriate on his part to have briefed the Attorney General on an ongoing investigation. That's completely appropriate, and an entirely separate issue as to whether Ashcroft should have recused himself sooner.

The briefings were entirely appropriate. This is TDS at full force. You're searching for straws to grasp to disparage his pick, plain and simple.

Keep telling yourself that chuckles.

Keep telling yourself that chuckles.

You haven't given a reason to think otherwise.
