LA mayor: Immigration arrests could cause a 'tinderbox'

Yes. Correct. But they are paying income taxes. You were making the claim that they don't pay income taxes. They do.

"Sure they've committed a crime by possessing stolen IDs, but hey! At least they are paying income taxes, yeah?"
*facepalm*

Oh I have no doubt that it exists. I've been up to MacCarthur park in LA and actually had people come up to me and try to sell me fake ID cards....so it obviously goes on. Generally though....those are for people who want to work to be able to work as opposed to identity theft to commit thefts on people's credit cards. That might be the reason why we don't see as many cases involving non-citizens. Honestly.....I would say 95% of the cases I get are people stealing to support their addiction.

The point of my post was to show that its far more widespread than your previous post leads one to believe. Particularly since you live in LA, a sanctuary city which protects illegal aliens. So naturally you wouldn't come across the average illegal alien that used stolen or forged identities near as much as places which are not sanctuary areas. Stolen identities being used by illegal aliens is a huge problem. How to fix that problem may be up for debate. But that it isn't a problem, and a huge one, isn't imo up for debate. The fact that the IRS and sanctuary states actually encourage such is even more of a problem and should be a major concern to everyone.

There is nothing. Citizenship is not checked in our voting process.

It is pretty much the norm for our current crap class of elites to not be interested in doing things right.....

Then they sit around for over a year trying to figure out why Trump is here...

:screwy

Pro-Tip: When you don't check ID's, anyone can vote...

Well according to Trump millions of undocumented voted in the last pres election. Does anyone believe that?

What are you talking about? I never pretended that I had "no idea that this wasn't happening". What I said is that in my experience, most identity theft cases that involve stealing a person's identity to commit thefts, e.g., credit card purchases, etc...are not committed by undocumented...they are committed by people with substance abuse issues that are looking for ways to feed their habit. Yes, any kind of identity theft is criminal and wrong, but in my experience, undocumented generally obtain fake social security numbers so that they can work, not to steal. Thats not to say it doesn't happen.
I didn't say "stealing" in the sense of stealing money. I said stealing as in stolen identity. It doesn't matter if they want to commit credit card fraud, work, or apply for a scholarship: they're stealing an identity.

Trump really should avoid contemporaneous speech....

Who cares about a "tinderbox" when the amount of illegal immigrants and Mexican cartel/south American drug running crime is already a blaze? The only sane thing is to deport all illegals like any other country would.

I never made such a claim.

When you enter a conversation halfway through and don't pay attention to the entire conversation.....you often come across looking like a fool. The conversation had nothing to do with "committing a crime". The conversation was about whether they pay taxes. If you want to have a different conversation, that's cool....but your post here is just drive-by non-sequitur.

Thats why the whole ID to vote thing is silly. Thank you.

Because you admit criminals can already abuse the system why bother trying to stop it? Well aside the partisan gain your preferred party gets?

You made your bed, and now you must lie in it, Mr. Garcetti. It's as simple as that.

Pro-tip: identity theft is a booming biz, thanks to illegal aliens.

They steal social security numbers in order to claim juicy tax benefits, especially the EITC.
