Trump: Change Senate rules ‘immediately’ to pass GOP plans

The FC along with Cruz/Paul/Lee will push for budget cut riders and poison pills and they're running the show right now.

Add in a gov't shutdown by August to ahca which is NOT a health CARE bill along with Medicaid cuts and tax cuts for the rich in trump's voodoo budget that ****s over Veterans and the the older/elderly .

But Trump believes that ****ing over veterans is gonna Make America Great Again ...........

Elections have concequences (sic). The Democrats can come along for the ride, but they can't drive...they have to sit in back.
Mitch McConnell said yesterday that he couldn't get 50 votes for the Trumpcare bill -- that's how unpopular the bill is with Americans. Senators are not anxious to pass a bill that takes 24 million Americans' health coverage away and raises the cost to those over 50 -- a reliable voting block. Lowering the threshold doesn't help and makes Republicans unable to stop bills they don't like when Democrats take the Senate.

Poll: Americans overwhelmingly like Obamacare more than Trumpcare

Right now, the GOP who voted to repeal Obamacare 67 times and Trump, who ran on repealing Obamacare, won't pass their replacement bill because it is so awful.

If that wasn't enough, Trump said that he suggests adding more money to Healthcare and "make it the best anywhere." Unfortunately, that's not the bill that he supported nor is that added money in HIS budget. Did this guy even read his own budget? No need to answer, we already know the answer.

Whether or not Congress votes for something has nothing to do with it's popularity among the citizens.

That says a mouth full. Congress is elected by the citizens to pass laws and enact programs that make their lives better. The idea that Congress will pass laws (and the Pres will support laws) because they are ideologically blind to the consequences (e.g. tossing tens of millions off health insurance) or because the will of lobbyists with suitcases full of cash outweigh the needs of the citizens, should make us all angry -- at least angry enough to throw out those who vote contrary to people's needs.

If they do it, they will regret it.

In the vast majority of bills and issues you are absolutely correct. But, at the end of the day they still have to be re-elected by the voters... not lobbyists, not corporations, the voters... so occasionally there comes along an issue that IS near and dear to the people's hearts and the people's opinion does matter. This seems to be one of those issues.
