Kathy Griffin Beheads President Trump

How did you explain his "Mexicans are rapists" comments (when illegals commit crimes at a lower rate than legals) his plan to have Mexico pay for a useless wall to keep out migrants when almost half the undocumented are visa overstayers, his "they are not *sending* us their best people," etc. And how do the media spin "they're rapists"? Or did you emphasize his generous concession that he "imagine(d) that some are good people."

Lipstick on a pig time.

Do you not know what actually happened?

Trump was commenting on a case he recently heard about where a coyote raped the women he was bringing across the border, which is common practice.

Does it matter to you that Trump was right? The Mexican coyotes are raping their charges.

Nobody comments on the wall because it doesn't matter. Have you heard people comment on the wall?

They are not send us their best people but some, I guess, are good people.

Do you have a problem with what he said?

The worst of the worst of society crosses the border because they can't

' make it where they are.

They think life will be so much easier in the US, until they get there that is.

Our doctors, lawyers nor our architects are crossing the border. The people crossing are the people that chose to do nothing with their lives.

You can spin things any way you want, but Trump was correct in what he said.

Oh, and by the way, saying that illegals commit less crimes than legal citizens, doesn't mean they commit no crime. One rape by an illegal is too many.

In my recollection the speech made no reference to any particular case. And he wasn't referring to coyotes when he said that Mexico was not sending us their best people. "They are not our friend, believe me. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." That's the quote. He *knew* they were rapists. Generously, he assumes some are good people.

I assisted professionally a woman who was forced to have sex with her coyote...as he died in the desert. Didn't happen, thank God. He doesn't represent all of them.

Of course many aren't... Why do you think they are called coyotes?... US farmworkers used to refer to their labor contractors as coyotes, not a complimentary term in either case. Smugglers call their immigrants "pollos."

Yes, indeed they have commented... It was even part of a funny animated piece on Mexican TV... Viewed from the Mexican side of the wall, it showed bodies flying over the wall, guys landing, dusting themselves off and staggering away, then a Mexican-American food truck crashed down from the US as well.

They are not send us their best people but some, I guess, are good people.

Yes... I met yesterday with a priest who told me when I last saw him that part of his efforts in the small town he worked was trying to convince folks not to migrate either to either Mexico City or the North. His point to me was that it WAS the most talented, ambitious people who were leaving. Think of it: the most ambitious risk-takers leave their family for a somewhat dangerous trip to an unknown place. Many work for a few years and get a stake to send back. The priest was depressed by folks arriving back with a car, better clothes, etc. He preferred for them to stay and improve the place they left. (In fact, he was a great organizer, bringing electricity and drinking water to his town through community effort.)

Thanks for the insult to my father and grandparents, who immigrated from Italy a hundred years ago, legally and illegally. (I was told that the word "wop" for Italians came from the phrase "without papers," though I don't know that for sure. I concede that they weren't docs. One grandfather a mere laborer, the other a skilled cabinet maker.) How does leaving your family from a community that offers fewer opportunities to find a better life, send money back, translate into doing nothing with their lives? And of course Italians have never been associated with crime.

As is one rape by a legal immigrant. Not much of a point here.

Just in to San Miguel from my fave place, Guanajuato (City). Back to DF in couple days. How bout you?

I am in Sinaloa. 2 hours away from the home of the cartel.

Also the house where they found El Chapo is one block from my sons school.

I park in front of it when I go pick him up.

We are right in the middle of the fight here but it is very calm right now.

Whatever you do stay away from Reynosa Tamp. It is dangerous there like Chicago.

I remember Sinaloa with a rep being bad for years now, way before the recent gang activity.
