Interesting, one would think that Free Speech applies to everyone regardless of race. Since when did Free Speech apply only to whites? Not to mention there is no white lives matter movement so not sure where the hell you got that from.

How about instead of playing a race card you actually comment on the topic? Which is about the Portland mayor calling for a shut down on a free speech rally.

Be aware that this article has a right wing slant, though in my opinion it is not excessive.

anything that doesn't agree with the liberal agenda is hate speech now it seems.
this is how you erode the freedom of the constitution. which is why hate speech laws should be
ruled unconstitutional.

We already have laws regarding this we don't need special laws.
Under these special laws anything that someone doesn't like could be labeled as hate speech.

There was a time when it came to speech that this country's motto was or the old adage went: "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it."

The problem with news sources today, the media in general and I use the term general, is the reporting is slanted toward one side or the other. There is no more just reporting the news, the facts, the event, the happening and keeping either personal or network bias out of it. Who really knows if the OP news source is correct or the one you put it? Certainly not someone living in Georgia. I know the slants of Fox, CNN, MSNBC before I watch any news on them. I know certain new magazines are slanted and slanted may not be a strong enough word. I think all this taking of sides instead of just reporting news is one of the main reason only 32% of all Americans trust the media anymore. That once again is media in general.

Each side wants to hear what it wants to hear, to have their views reinforced. Conservatives go to Fox, Liberals to MSNBC where each gets his view of slanted news the way and how he wants to hear it.

most of the terror attacks that have happened in the US are due to Muslim domestic terrorists.
the get them out statement was about 2 hecklers that were disrupting an event that he was at.

lock her up is true. Clinton committed and broke several high federal laws. one of which was a minimum of 10 years in prison.
she should have been put on trial and had her day in court like any other citizen.

Yep while a % of them don't do anything there is another % that does. all which could be avoided if we actually
executed our existing laws regarding illegal immigration.

again that is not hate speech it is fact. we know you haven't been paying attention to facts it is obvious.

I don't need to make any valid point, you people are all the validity I need to point out the hypocrisy. If you're a group of Black Lives Matters protectors, who are widely diverse in both gender and race, they are categorized as thugs.

this is how you implement though police. it started out with the PC movement. then it became the hate speech and calling everyone a bigot movement.
now it is if you disagree with what I think then it is hate speech movement.

The sponsors would probably sue if he did, and to win, the city would have to show it had some compelling reason which made cancelling the event the only solution. Claiming an unmanageable threat to public safety seems to be popular these days--pretty much UC Berkeley's rationale for revoking Ann Coulter's invitation to speak there.

The millions of fake liberals who now live in this country--and they are the very opposite of liberal--dislike the First Amendment almost as much as they dislike the Second and the Tenth. These people run down the U.S., carry water for its adversaries, and do all they can to damage the Constitution, and then they shriek that they are being persecuted when anyone suggests they are un-American.

when you loot destroy and disrupt public civility through violence then yes you are considered a thug whether you are black or white.

When the government, at any level, starts to label folks as extremists and uses that to deny them permission to speak that does not "calm things down".

The feds should respond by arresting the moron that thinks that it is not unconstitutional to order a "temporarily" ban of free speech by some citizens inside the US but it is (so far) unconstitutional for the POTUS to order a "temporarily" ban of some foreign nationals from entering the country.

It is a huge problem when "extreme vetting" (prior restraint?) is permitted to take the place of due process for US citizens. Issuing rally/protest permits based on the political lean (alt-right or antifa?) of the requestor is entering very dangerous territory.

How can non-citizens outside the US have more constitutional rights than citizens inside the US do?

which is unconstitutional. according to precedent the fear of something happening is not a strong enough case to cancel someone's free speech.

This is what happens when you throw logic and reason out for feelings.
everything is an appeal to emotion argument these days.

I blame us for letting it happen. it use to be we tell people to sit down and be quiet.
somewhere we lost control and we have ended up with this nonsense.

people are scared to speak their mind for fear of being labeled something.
that is thought police fully.
