Trump Supporter Accused of Rally Violence Blames Trump

Then the original story must be true, because we all know anonymous sources are bogus. ;)

An anonymous source said that's a false story.

Greetings, bubba. :2wave:

You just listed two way-overused coverups by sly people in one short sentence! Good job!

White nationalist Matthew Heimbach is being sued by a protester who says he assaulted her at a rally in Kentucky last year and he, in turn, is suing Trump, saying he was acting at Trump's direction and "relied on Trump's authority to order disruptive persons removed,"

Trump Supporter Accused of Rally Violence Blames Trump

Interesting. Trump probably wins, but a supporter is saying he's wrong?

Trump may have incited the incident, but it was Heimbach himself who did the assault. Trump didn't put a gun to his head and make him do it. Heimbach needs to lose all his money in court so he can learn what happens when you refuse to be responsible for your own actions.

Your article, despite it's headline, made it clear he was no longer a Trump supporter.

Was this before or after Trump offered to pay all the legal fees for anyone who used violence on protestors?

That isn't what he said.

He said he wold pay the legal fees for anyone who knocked the crap out of a person getting ready to attack.

“If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, would you? Seriously,” Trump said. “Just knock the hell — I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise.”

There is a big difference between what he actually said and that which folks dishonestly want to spin it into.

And the judge allowed the case to move forward, having determined that Trump's speech was legitimate grounds for being considered incitement to violence.

Trump Can't Claim Free Speech Defense in Protesters' Lawsuit

Here is the ruling.

For context, I'm almost entirely sure this is the video from that rally. The date and the circumstances seem to be right.
