No, Macron overpowered his handshake.

But he does pull the man in tighter to him, almost in a hug like fashion. Furthermore, the other man's arm comes around Trump in a hug. Trump also did this with a smile on his face.

For your theory to be accurate, it has to assume things about Trump for which we have no real prior video evidence. I understand your desire to criticize all things Trump (believe me, I do), but this is just not one where I can agree with you.
