Not really. A little bit, but ZIP codes often correspond to neighborhoods. You can accomplish the same thing by packing the inner city ZIPs into one district.

Or like in Utah, GOPs use the cracking technique to break up Salt Lake County, which Clinton won by over 35,000 votes, into three CDs, one of which belongs to Chaffetz which DEMs have a shot at winning when he retires 6/30/17.

The house judiciary committee, which Green is not on, would have to start the impeachment process, which DEM leadership is leery of pressing. With 24 pretty safe GOPs along with 17 DEMs, I don't see 4 GOPs flipping.

With the trump budget out Tuesday, the CBO score on trumpcare Wednesday, the Montana election Thursday and trump's trip, DEMs have difficult choices on what to focus on while McConnell secretly works on health care .

DEM GOTV problems only added to that. DEMs should spend a few hours each day working on bread and butter issues. Average Americans get bored of a topic like impeach trump with so many spinners out there.

Voter suppression laws, many still in court, followed in those lost states after the USSC gutted the VRA and the 14th amendment. DEMs lost the USSC because Gore lost FL because of Nader. That's my spin.

The 2010 election, which eventually led to trump, will live in election infamy for Democrats .

No, says the " idiots " who over the last 6 years have won back over 900 State legislator seats, 14 Governor races, won back the House majority and the Senate majority and the WH

If the GOP are idiots, what does that make the party of losers who still cant come to terms whith the results of the last election ?

My discussion was about specific CDs, not that you have any understanding of the gerrymandering process.

Nor do you understand how your GOP uses gerrymandering to win statewide races .

GOPs will condemn him in pubic. In private, the removal of confederate monuments has the potential to reverberate as a campaign issue in the 14 southern states along with the 13 plains and mountain states and even in rural areas of the 8 Midwest states.

The polls missed these trump voters for a number of reasons. Mayor Landrieu's short-sighted move to pander to minorities for his election next Feb. may help him but will not gain more voters overall, as we've seen with poor DEM voter patterns since 2010 .

Slight diff: impeachment suggests a trial. Lynch-like threats should be familiar to Trump, given his history of this sort of thing. In this case, payback would be a bitch.
