So it's only a minority, in other words? Most groups of people have their share of "cyanide-laced" individuals, and Muslims are no different. Is there any valid reason why we should treat them differently?

Granted, they are a minority, but the overall silence of the majority, is deafening, also, they will never assimilate and our cultures don't mix, never have and never will, they intend to bring sharia law to America. Sharia law has as much place here as our constitution does in the ME. Do you disagree?

For ****'s sake, could you at least form your own thoughts instead of unthinkingly regurgitating talking points right-wing media has fed you? How about we fix the analogy first:

1) It's not a bag of skittles, it's about 1.5 olympic-sized swimming pools full of skittles, with 3 poison ones.
2) Each skittle you eat saves the life of a human being, many of them children.

Would you eat a handful? **** yes I would.

I don't think this is something he'd have to "do time" over. He was belligerent and used abusive language, but as far as I could tell, it was kept from becoming physical. So fines and community service will suffice, I'd say.

Assault can be putting an individual in fear of an imminent battery (an unlawful touching). You can even have assault to murder without actual physical damage.

It'd be reasonable if they felt threatened with an imminent battery. He's a drunk raging asshole.
