Bannon Removed From National Security Council Role in Shakeup

Jared Kushner is taking his place.

Bannon has a bright, but strange, mind.

And he needs a bath something fierce.
There's no bath capable of cleansing the human putridity that is Steve Bannon ...

Didn't like him being part of the council and I'm happy to see this occur

You cannot bathe away the stink around him,;)

Pretty general statement when people here have not found one quote from Bannon to prove what they say he is.

Great news!

My gut feeling: The military guys were getting tired of him, and complaining.
That's what I suspect since it seemed a bit unusual for him to be there in the first place. This is proof that Trump keeps his promises. He said he would listen to his generals!

I will say this about Mr. Trump:

He seems to learn and adapt quickly.

There's a great deal I don't like about him (to say the least), but he does pivot and adapt quickly! (as we'd expect from a good businessman)

But no, I don't see this as 'promise fulfilled' ...

Not much. It is not usual for a member of the President's advisory staff to serve on the NSC and, not only was his appointment to the NSC controversial for that reason, it had an unsettling affect on the clear line of command. He had only attended one meeting anyway, so he voluntarily stepped down, probably after talking it over with everybody. No big deal.

Based on looks, I have a suspicion that he drinks a heck of a lot. Not that there's anything wrong with that. LOL.

I'm wondering if Bannon was removed from the Security Council due to his connections to Breitbart. It was being reported that Breitbart was being looked at by FBI investigators as being a source where Russian bots seem to be really active . These bots through disqus hit up several pages on the web, on Twitter and other social outlets spreading the same message that may give a link to a particular article or blog. They make it appear that the story is really hot with so many posting about it when it is a handful of bots doing it. It creates more traffic to these websites stories like Pizzagate, Clinton wears a catheter, Clinton's health failing, Bill Clinton's new Bimbo, or pro Trump stories during times when Trump was getting hammered in the media. Info Wars run by the tinfoil hat guy Alex Jones who seems to be real chummy with Stone is another website that is under investigation.

A writer for Red State told me not too long ago that Zero Hedge is a Russian run news outlet.

I know writers at Red State, the Blaze including Dana Loesch, Ben Shapiro at Dailywire, and those at Right Scoop, all right leaning conservative websites are thrilled to hear that Bannon has been removed from the Security Council.

His negative effect on the current administration will remain. Bannon's goal was to "deconstruct the administrative state". The cabinet picks of folks that hated the very agencies they were put in charge of were likely Bannon's idea and haven't gone away with Bannon.

You are who you associate yourself with

Which only serves to demonstrate that Trump is a poor judge of character in having hired him and the others fires in what? less than 60 days?

Trump's all over the place to me. I love some of his Cabinet picks, like McMaster and Tillerson and Perry and Carson. I love his VP pick. I love his SCOTUS pick.

Then there's Bannon and that little troll Steven Miller. What was he thinking with them?

It's about the investigation closing in and Trump reshuffling the deck to head it off.

I doubt that seriously. You better worry about Rice, she's not out of the woods yet.

Never liked Bannon, so I'm happy with it. NIMBY!!! where are you, celebrating!?

Nope; I disagree. We now know that Flynn has a lot to say and Bannon has been all over everything from the beginning, so he's next. A billionaire by the name of Mercer brought in Bannon and Conway and poured money into Trump to save his campaign and now the whole thing is coming unglued because they don't know what they're doing. Rice for her part has already said that she needed names of "American persons" for her own investigation at the time, so she's in safe water just like Obama. In my lifetime I've never seen anything like this cabal and it needs to be torn apart.
