Trump has quietly hired 400 people from high school grads to conspiracy theorists

I'm fine with giving him his shot. I take it you aren't part of the coup the left is hoping for? ;)

My philosophy is that economic growth will solve most of our problems. (Which is a problem of it's own.. for another thread)
Oh, I'd very much like a legal and Constitutional political coup. I just don't see it happening, unless Trump loses popularity with the GOP rank & file.

However it seems the Paul Manafort problem is starting to hit a very serious point. There may be hope yet.

Perhaps that may colour my judgment in some cases, perhaps not. But I believe not in this case.

She does not appear competent, and her predominate qualifier seems to be she is a prolific supporter in multiple facets.

She champions school choice which is a goal of the Trump administration. You don't appoint a member of the DOE/Teacher-Union machine to push for school choice.

That was Truman. The sign read "The buck stops here". Not "The buck starts here". There is a difference.

I'm not aware of any bill that has been acted on by Congress and presented for signature to Mr. President Trump at this point.
See, again your speaking in purely technical terms (legislation).

Yes, we know the technicalities of the Constitution and legislation.

But where is Trump's leadership? Why couldn't he move TrumpCare through Congress? Why can't he rally the People behind him? Where is his leadership? It's so bad no one believes a thing that comes out of his mouth (and for good reason).

This is where he fails.

That's a reasonable argument, and it's true.

But she still has no experience, seemed lacking in knowledge and unprepared in her hearings, and at the very least has a conflict of interest due to her massive financial support of Trump.

So I see her as more swamp.

You're just making things up to suit your agenda, which is because Trump.

Ignoring the three branches of government which we live under to address your post:

The establishment on either side has never been Trump fans. Nor has any of the left. I knew this going in. There's still a lot of work to do. Hopefully it will get done in a couple years. But I don't count on it. There are 40 members of the Freedom Caucus, up from 0 a couple years ago, and more to come. The 40 were successful in stopping a bad piece of legislation from going forward. That surely registers with some on the hill.

Rome, as the saying goes, was not built in a day. Neither will DC be unbuilt in a day.

Alright.

It's a hundred days in, let's see what occurs. But I see this guy as neither leadership material, nor a visionary, nor a uniter or a motivator.

You guys sent him to wreck the place, so we'll see. But not all change, and not all wrecking, is good.

And I'm with you in that we need to change course. But this ain't the guy. If he was, I would've voted for him!

Huh. I wonder when he interviewed all those people...

You know that he had to personally interview every single on of them, otherwise he wouldn't be doing his job so he needs to be impeached immediately and Clinton installed as the rightful ruler of this nation.

Have patience Chomsky. It takes longer than 68 days to get the government off the backs of the "working", so they can finally see an end to all the struggling and floundering.

If they tolerated it for 8 years, they should be able to hang in there a bit longer.

Think how the citizens in coal country are feeling today.

Make America wait again!

You're correct that I believe that in order to rebuild, first the old must be torn down and disposed of. We aren't there yet. Maybe 2018.

I'm not particularly a Trump fan, but I wonder if any other wrecking ball could have gotten the job done. Certainly not the other 20 GOP candidates, predominately establishment, and absolutely not Hillary, the quintessential establishment critter representing everything wrong with government.

As I saw it, the knowledge she is lacking is in the systems she would be overhauling.

"This psychiatrist doesn't know the first thing about phrenology!" ;)

Uh, you don't see that as a problem?

President Trump hired 400 people from varied walks of life. That's your complaint?

That's the best you can do?

Ahem.....and all this time the right was hammering on Obama for his deliberate dichotomy of walks of life; how the right wailed because there were gays, lesbians, and all sorts of people the right hates. On and on you all went about how Obama was "destroying" the nation and all you can do is a drive by troll post showing your and most others ignorance on the right.

So we know out of the gate there is hypocrisy but since you decided to be the first to post a shallow, smarmy bit of idiocy, you then can explain how Trump breaking yet another core promise, not to deal with lobbyists but now HIRES them.

Then we can have a conversation and the qualifications of the two groups and you can explain how people with a mere high school education are suddenly White House staffers.

My how soon we forget the important issues when der Fuhrer forgets his promises.

Apparently not refined enough for the snoots on the Left.

Didn't go to the right schools or have the proper crease in their trousers.

Oooh how soon we forget.

There's eight years of the right going ape **** over EVERY one of Obama's appointments. But the right's complaint had nothing ever to do with qualifications nor broken promises...but because the right hated them. He appointed gays and lesbians etc., and you all went ape ****.

Now, Trump violates YET ANOTHER promise and brings lobbyists into his crew. He blantantly boasted numerous times he would "rid Washington" of lobbyists...

And now here you are covering for him.

Where is all that OUTRAGE over Obama now when it's really needed.

The right in America are hypocrites who have NO interest in making the country better. From the rapid and universal shift from fault finder to fault hider in one election.

If everything the left does is wrong, and everything the right does is right what do you have?

Insanity

IMO, you are putting too much on Trump. I blame Ryan. Ryan should have had bills lined up like little freight cars waiting for the new administration. Bills that were "low hanging fruit" - infrastructure, personal tax cuts, corporate tax cuts, hardening of our electrical and electronic infrastructure, etc. Most of this would have been bipartisan, and may have helped down the line when it was time to look at Obamacare, banking, and retirement insolvency.

When democrats are back to getting used to working with Republicans, maybe then it's time to look at Obamacare. IMO, Trump was ill advised to go after Obamacare as his first fight.

But. He never takes my advice. IMO, he should close the EPA and the D of Education, and give that money to Obamacare, and the financial problem is nearly solved. But then again, someone's anthill is going to get kicked.

Yes, that is how it should've been done.

But Trump set the agenda, not Ryan.

And he picks stupid fights.

If I went ape **** over anything it would be that most were little Commie queers. I'm pretty sure Trump will hire some LGBTQRSTUVs............. for his admin.

What a vile and disgusting post. At least though you don't try n' hide it.

We are a month away from 100 days in, actually.
