Jeb Bush says Trump 'should stop saying things that aren't true'

Last I heard JEB! was still Trying to figure out how he could have lost so badly to Trump....like dazed and confused.

None of us expect trump or his posters to listen to the Grownups in the GOP, even if we disagree with them on most issues.

How did ignoring Boehner on trumpcare work out for djt ?

Mostly due to the inability of the Left to come to terms with the truth.

Especially the Birther one that built his current 36% approval plurality base .

I believe that Jeb refused to stoop so low as Trump. Trump continued with the Obama Birther lie, well after it was proven false; and more qualified candidates like Jeb and Christy refused to stoop that low. Trump proved that he no matter how low he would go, somehow he still prevailed. The Locker Room Banter, poor debate performances, etc., etc.

There wasn't locker room banter. There was bragging about molesting women. That's not locker room banter, according to every man I've asked, including my very rough and locker room type, motorcylce ridin' badass brother. No, he says...regular men do NOT banter about treating women that way. Just a few lowlifes talk that way, and criminals.

How does that negate the fact that Trump keeps mking **** up?

OP said, "Although Jeb Bush seems to hold a lot of respect for Donald Trump, yesterday he seemed to imply that the President is resorting to lying."

I responded that Jeb Bush does not hold a lot of respect for Trump. He seems to hate his guts, as well as the rest of the Bush family.

That is all.

At the end of 100 days, even Trump supporters are gonna hate Trump. Besides, he just anointed his son-in-law as president by proxy. Yes, Jared Kushner is the guy we bow to.

Trump needs more Twitter time.

You say that as Obama was the first politician that ever lied.

You act like Trump is the first to lie. In fact that seems to be the mantra around here, Trump lied! Wow, and they hate that. They got to know Trump better than any candidate during the primaries and general election; and they act like they just came out of the womb, and "Oh my God! Trump lied!"

Trump is probably the first president to working on behalf of Russia though. I'm just glad he's one of yours. :)

Obama the first to work on behalf of Iran.

Obama the first to work on behalf of Iran.

I guess you never heard of the Shah. Lots of presidents have worked on behalf of Iran.

The first President to work for the Ayatollah was Carter. Carter was his first bitch, and Obama his second.

Since there absolutely no proof of that assertion,, who's the liar now?

Parroting back the other person's point isn't an effective method of discussion. Especially when you make no attempt whatsoever to address the other person's point. I'm left to presume that you had nowhere to go because you agree with my point, but pride and partisanship won't let you say so.

And if you've paid attention to my posts over time, and you've certainly responded to enough of them so any claim of ignorance would be a lie itself, you know better.

And, yes, Trump does lie. The difference between him and most other politicians, whereas they seem to do it as a means to an end, Trump does that AND seems to revel in it.

He's not a liar, he is just extremely susceptible to political propaganda. :)

There is more than enough evidence to substantiate my claim that Trump probably is working on behalf of Russia.

You refusing to face the music does not mean the music isn't playing loud and clear.

Jeb thinks he didn't raise enough money to spend on campaign adds attacking trump

Next time he'll raise a billion dollars minimum to tell the voters how much they love him

No amount of money could have changed the fact that Trump had 24/7 coverage by every media outlet. No other candidate, not even Hillary once it came down to the general election received the amount of airtime/coverage that Trump received....and it was all free. He was a ratings bonanza!

Trump provided sensationalism and drama. The stuff the press eats up the most, because it's the stuff that most people eat up, too.

Thats true.

But trump used the exposuire to connect with average voters

Hillary on the other hand found that the voters liked her less when they saw more of her

As for free coverage the liberal mainstream media has learned its lesson and now only mentions trump when they have something bad to say about him

For all his faults, Trump handled the media (in the campaign) masterfully. Even his "fake news" thing is a stroke of manipulative strategy genius.

His media handling now is still ok, but not as effective. He hasn't yet seemed to grasp that he's no longer needing to convince people of what he'll do, he needs to actually do it.
