"The Times story appears to confirm earlier reports from the Daily Beast that quoted an official saying that Bannon called on the president “to keep a **** list on this.” The unnamed official added: “Not sure if I’d call it an ‘enemies list,’ per se, but I wouldn’t want to be on it.” Another aide described it as a “hit list” for Republicans who were not loyal to the president."

Fake news of course. It makes President Bannon look bad. It sounds like him though. Always more interested in confrontation than anything else.

So his enemies are going to be who? Everyone???? Well he did say he likes Darth Vader so makes sense.
 
Sounds like regular politics to me.

Unless Bannon is suggesting disloyal republicans be killed or something, I mean this is regular strategy, do not support people who don't support you.

This was somewhat covered this morning on This Week With George Stephanopoulos. It seems that Bannon & Co have decided to make an example of Freedom Caucus member Alex Mooney of West Virginia because his electoral position is the weakest. It seems Mooney represents a District that has a heavy coal miner population where Trumps popularity numbers are better than Representative Mooney's. Bannon & Co will seek to replace Mooney with a more pliable republican politician.

Yeah we'll see how that holds up when Trumps plan to bring back coal falls as flat on its face as his two Muslim bans and healthcare plan.

So far Trump is 0 for 3 on actual policy and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Darth Vader makes a lot more sense than this. He stands for order, and planet. Bannon doesn't. He stands for party and tests of allegiance.

It's good to see America get to know who Bannon is while trumposters continue to try to minimize and deflect away from Bannon. I have yet to see one trumposter defend Bannon.

The 5 vacant house seats will be filled by June 20, 4 GOP and 1 DEM. DEMs have a great shot at two GOPs seats, GA-6 and MT-AL.

At that date, GOPs will need 218 votes out of their caucus again, since they insist on their 'Hastert Rule' from the mid 1990s .

How did Boehner keep his caucus in line in 2009 with zero GOPs voting for ACA? Didn't DEMs allow 161 GOP amendments and 4 planks in ACA? How many amendments and planks did DEMs get in trumpcare ?

Bannon has succeeded in his stated goal of creating chaos.

But did Bannon really think he could intimidate Rep. Jordan, a two-time NCAA Division 1 National Wrestling Champion at 185 pounds ?

Even though there was no vote, there was a whip count, so DEMs will have there 30-second clips ready next year, GOP style.

As well, GOPs went to the house floor to support this bill. GOPs still think they can blame the DEMs while they are the governing party .

Wow, I don't know - those are a lot of enemies. If the Trump administration plans to wage war on over 30 folks in their own party, I think they'll lose! Many of those "femdom party" GOP'ers have a lot of **** Brother support.

Rhetorically shooting messengers sounds good to me when GOPosters are admitting this was a GOP circular firing squad.

This is the same GOP civil war we've been suffering through since the GOP took over the house in 2011.

If I was a Democrat first, I'd advise the GOP house to keep their 'Hastert Rule' .

One reason it is taking so long to fill those approx 4000 positions. Loyalty tests. One fellow hired was fired due to his writing an article critical of Trump.
IIRC a Trump WH Staffer was vetting people based upon any critiques of Trump, cannot recall which person, the uproar ensued, she was moved.
Her quals boiled down to be a Trump Loyalist.

Well, I'm not sure. I thought Trump's appeal was that he wasn't a politician. Now he's being one. He also failed to repeal ObamaCare and we still haven't seen ISIS defeated (which he said he could do in 30 days).
