WH Defends Proposed Cuts to Programs for Elderly, Minorities, and Poor

Its an excellent reason to offer more money, to stop such events.

But I see you liking the POTUS and our military failing to keep our citizens safe. You would rather sacrifice 3,000 people whenever the terrorist want by cutting out our military, customs, FBI, HLS, DIA, CIA and the like, by defunding them completely.

as I stated: George W. Bush FAILED America on 9/11 & the US MILITARY failed the US on 9/11 ....... is that any reason to offer the military more money for failure?

ALL government agencies that are in place to protect the American people failed US on 9/11, pretty obvious

Why should failure be rewarded?

Hitler did the same thing in Germany in the 1920s & 1930s; it's ALL ABOUT getting rid of the weaker, dependent population so, that when your nation GOES TO WAR your nation is full of a younger, a stronger, a more vital population

have no doubt; BannonTrump is going to war BUT they believe it is a war they can win ............ haha ......... they have ALREADY lost ..........

"The little brats aren't getting better grades, so no more food for them."

No. There is no causation between the food program and better grades. The question is are we spending the money for better grades or out of charity. Shall we at least try to be honest?

Hitler asks a fortune teller "why am I losing the war"

The fortune teller says " it is because of the jewish generals"

Hitler: "But I haven't got any!"

The fortune teller says "ah, but your enemy does"

Excellent!

Do you have valid research to back that up?

Not the point and you know it. Go chum the waters somewhere else.

I'm sure you don't have a problem with starving your own children in order to prove that their grades won't be affected. Put your money where your mouth is.

This thread got Godwin'd so ****ing fast.

The question should be why the schools started feeding them in the first place and did it lead to better grades. If it didn't, why cant they be fed at home unless they are selling food stamp benefits? It should not be the responsibility of schools to feed kids breakfast and lunch but that is where it has gone. Further, the lunch program is a real mess. I would suspect the graft and corruption is systemic.

From your own source.

Yes, and? There's less research on that. "Less research available" doesn't mean "no improvement."

Also, who cares? "Kids should only get food assistance if their grades improve?" I mean, seriously?

I take from your statement all those agencies should be eliminated as they failed.

all of those entities FAILED pre 9/11 ............ why should any that FAIL have budgets increased/rewarded for failure?

Prove to me you know how block grants work and how school lunches is just cover for that money being dumped into tons of programs other than school lunches.

That is exactly right. Is it not the responsibility of the parents to feed their kids. I know some teachers and they say the kids have to take this and that to be fed properly and everyone dumps what they don't want in the trash can. You could feed the homeless with the food the kids get at school and throw away. And then the kids go to the vending machine and get a bag of chips and a soda. The school meal program is a joke.
