Did Trump have his own tax return leaked?

Another question: what's in it for them, that makes it worth the risk?

Bingo! Who would risk up to 10 years in jail, and perhaps even conviction for Treason, without some "benefit" provided?

That is the elephant in the room. Who is writing the checks to fund the apparatus that has been put in place.

Doesn't matter what political party one aligns themselves with, these are profound and dangerous actions everyone should be concerned with.

The ramifications are alarming.

That's all the Left has. Fairy tales. DTs opposition should be ashamed.

Always ask why! Put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself if it would make sense to do what they did.

Was there anything in the leaked returns in anyway embarrassing to Trump? If you went through all of his tax returns for the last 20 years I doubt you'd find any tax information that showed him in a more positive light. In 2005 he made a lot of money, paid a lot of taxes, and that's it. If you were trying to hurt Trump, why on earth would you leak them? It's make him look good! So yeah, that doesn't pass the smell test at all.

But...this easy?

Why would this be hard? That man (whatever his name is) has a mailbox set up to receive this kind of information. He has no way of knowing where it came from. Sure, you could easily do this, and to MSNBC of all places. I know Trump doesn't like CNN but I think MSNBC really infuriates him. Not to mention that troll Maddow has been doing some exposes on Trump recently.

I think this is sheer brilliance on Trump's part if in fact he did this intentionally.

If he did, it was an awesome gambit.
Game, set, match.

I think it's extremely sad that if he did so, his supporters would think it's behavior worthy of the President of the United States. But I stopped being surprised when they shrugged it off after he bragged about committing sexual assault and after he scammed regular Americans out of nearly a quarter billion dollars.

That isn't my point. My point is, no one took a few minutes to actually see what information was on the returns? That's awfully stupid on their part.

Is feloniously leaking information to undermine The President of The United States acceptable, to you?

When past presidents have been involved in killing innocent people, for debatable reasons, via war/military intervention.
This is small potatoes, imo.

Wait, so maddow flops on a leaked trump tax return, embarrasses herself and the left, and what you take from this is suggesting that suggesting without any evidence that trump leaked his own return, that others, are blind "trump bots" and you are some how "having fun"?

Obama Shadow Government

What benefit did Snowden have?

Well I guess he does get to live in Russia now, lol.

You have zero evidence to back up anything about Obama Shadow Government, all you have is supposition.

People who own businesses don't do ANY charitable giving personally. Not a dime. Those checks are written by their companies and paid with before tax dollars. Anyone with any financial savvy know that. Ask any expert.

I realize many of you think you're experts, but you are not. Trump would be a fool to make donations personally. And he's no fool.

I said the schedule A wasn't released because he didn't want to be criticized. Also any charitable donations given by his businesses that are pass through entities should be separately on his K-1s and flow through to his schedule A, not deducted directly from net income... ask any expert. C-corps you'd be correct they can deduct them directly (but are limited to 10% of net income).

Maggie, If you are a business person/owner and your tax advisor is writing off charitable donations directly from net income (unless you are running a C-corp), I suggest you seek another tax advisor unless you like playing the audit lottery.

Another left lie. He never bragged about committing sexual assault.

Of course, based on these numbers, if Trump gets his way and we get rid of the alternative income tax provisions, Trump only would have paid under five million that year on an income of over 150 million.

I wonder why he supports that? :doh:roll::shock:

I forgot about the alternative income tax thing, but yes, that would "solidify" the position that it should be repealed. Remember, the GOP is constantly pressing for lower taxes on the wealthy, and making the argument that the wealthy pays too much in taxes (which I would agree with). Trump paid over $30 million in taxes in 2012. That's one hell of a big chunk of change.

Is it reasonable to suppose shell casings and a trail of blood reveal someone got shot?

Releasing transcripts of top secret national intelligence intercepts is an extreme violation of the law. Anyone caught doing so would be looked at the same way Snowden has been.

But someone deep in the intelligence apparatus, with access to such secret capabilities and output, released this information to the public. Would you go to jail for 10 years to make a political play?

It's your right to ignore the smoking gun, but please don't assume everyone must follow the same standards you choose to live by.

Exactly. Trump didn't release his own tax returns. The microwave stole them. Cause it was made in Mexico and you know how those Mexican ones are, I mean some of them are good but they can be bad hombres or whatever the ****.

Mags, you support a guy that insulted gold star parents, war heroes,

Crocodile tears my friend, you has them.

Yet if he leaked his own tax returns as a distraction from his problems, you find that to be admirable. That is so incredibly sad.

You don't have anything close to that.

How many years is Snowden looking at? What purpose did he have. You seem to WANT to ignore the possibility, which you CANNOT RULE OUT YET, that one did it for altruistic reasons or other reasoning besides "protection".

It's your right to ignore the smoking gun, but please don't assume everyone must follow the same standards you choose to live by.

You don't have a smoking gun. If you have EVIDENCE, let's see it. It would be great. But you just have some extreme supposition and a narrative you want to push, so you throw out all other considerations to the contrary.

Proof of your conspiracy theory please.

Probably because his alternative minimum tax net operating loss got used up before his regular net operating loss did and hence the huge AMT tax in 2005... again leading me to think this was a cherry picked, intentionally released tax return. That much of AMT in relation to regular tax is not normal... not that Trump is a normal taxpayer, but still my money is on the NOL differences.

Typical true believer, It's not that the thing was a bust for maddow and her far left kook ilk, it was that possibly, (with no evidence), trump leaked his own returns, that you all have been crying for for months...You can't make this **** up!

Another left lie. He never bragged about committing sexual assault.
Yes he did.

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.” “And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.
“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

I know you defend Trump on just about everything, but don't defend him on that. Even Trump himself, who almost never admits he's wrong, apologized for those remarks. Don't defend them.

How could President Trump possibly know, or even guess, that Maddow and her people are this stupid?

Sure, this turned out to be a big pail of dung from the donkeys but ...
th
was much better on E.R.
th
where they didn't let her make up her own stuff.

And que the conspiracy theories.

Of all the conspiracy theories, though, this is the best.

Props to the Trump team if they capitalized on the anti-Trump fury on the left and managed to feed the document to the one outlet dumb enough to run with it.

Obviously he watches MSNBC. ;)
