We can't take any chances. This is our electoral process we're talking about, here. If a sitting president colluded with a foreign government to steal an election, we have a right to know.

Ah yes, I have traveled across burning deserts and through blinding snow storms just to find the truth. Now, finally, I am here, at your doorstep, and hungry for your next revelation. Please, allow me to partake of some of that Reynolds Wrap you are using. :mrgreen:

Seriously, though, If we ground up the source used by the OP, and blended half of it with half of the Daily Kos, we might actually find ourselves closer to the truth. Cut 2 extremist sources, one from each side of the insanity, in half and mix them according to the following formula.... 2 half truths make a whole truth.

You might be right. Truth be told, I am not familiar with the source quoted in the OP. That said, I am fairly familiar with WaPo. For some time years back, it was my homepage. Yes, with the Pentagon Papers it provided society a valuable and legitimate purpose. Alas, those days are gone.

In modern times, WaPo and NYT are pretty much the same--agents fighting for the status quo, and lapdogs of government and its several criminal policies.

The truth of the thread topic matter is that the US government has overthrown more legitimately elected governments around the world than Russia has ever dreamed of, even in the day of Kruschev.

Congress abdicated its constitutional responsibilities regarding oversight of our spooks and pentagon many years ago. Those in glass houses should not throw stones.
