Man this Kislyak guy is everywhere. I don't usually like Thinkprogress but they did a good job putting it all together, and they have access to the WSJ piece I do not have.

But we have the firm denials of Trump and the campaign.

Feb. 16, 2017: Trump denies any contacts with Russia.

“Russia is a ruse. I have nothing to do with Russia. Haven’t made a phone call to Russia in years. Don’t speak to people from Russia. Not that I wouldn’t. I just have nobody to speak to. I spoke to Putin twice. He called me on the election. I told you this. And he called me on the inauguration, a few days ago. We had a very good talk, especially the second one, lasted for a pretty long period of time. I’m sure you probably get it because it was classified. So I’m sure everybody in this room perhaps has it. But we had a very, very good talk. I have nothing to do with Russia. To the best of my knowledge no person that I deal with does. Now, Manafort has totally denied it. He denied it. Now people knew that he was a consultant over in that part of the world for a while, but not for Russia. I think he represented Ukraine or people having to do with Ukraine, or people that — whoever. But people knew that. Everybody knew that.”

Clapper says that there is zero evidence of Trump collusion with the Russians. Time for you to give it.

At this point it is becoming clear that whenever Trump speaks in public it's just the opposite, and his twitter handle is his consciousness screaming to get out.

This latest report putting Trump with the Russian ambassador must be wrong.

So this report that Rump met with the Russian ambassador must be completely wrong and an example of fake news.

Feb. 19, 2017: White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus denies any connections between Trump team and the Russians.

Reince Priebus, White House chief of staff, gave a blanket “no” when asked by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday whether the Trump team had any connections with Moscow. Priebus went on later in the interview to add: “Let me give you an example. First of all, The New York Times put out an article with no direct sources that said that the Trump campaign had constant contacts with Russian spies, basically, you know, some treasonous type of accusations. We have now all kinds of people looking into this. I can assure you and I have been approved to say this — that the top levels of the intelligence community have assured me that that story is not only inaccurate, but it’s grossly overstated and it was wrong. And there’s nothing to it.”

You're surprised that a diplomat, from one of the most influential nations in the world, is doing his job.
People like yourself have become the "it was aliens" meme, except now it's the Russians.

It's Bush's fault.

Every single instance of this guy doing his job, in relation to Trump, is going to be defined as something nefarious.
It's insanity.

Notice how three other ambassadors present weren't named and totally ignored?

But, hey...these are the same folks who bought into AWOL-gate and still think Bush outted Valerie Plame.

Why did Nancy Pelosi lie about meeting the Russian ambassador?

Why is trump lying repeatedly about his meeting?

When will trump admit that he is a blatant irrational liar ?

He didn't have a meeting with the Russian ambassador.

Take it to the CT forum.

He's lost all credibility with most Americans except for his most fervent supporters. The right-leaning GOP will continue to support him until he ceases to be a rubber stamp for their draconian legislation. Look at how most GOP politicians are refusing to condemn Trump's jackass Saturday morning tweet storm!

As long as he plays ball, and signs the tea party bills Trump will survive.

Why did Nancy Pelosi lie about meeting the Russian ambassador?

Pelosi is an idiot. Are you willing to concede that Trump is one too?

He has you people ****ting yourselves...lol

I think you meant that trump has his DC and STATE GOP lawmakers ****ting themselves .

Take it to the CT forum.

The CT forum you bring up is where trump's accusations belong.

Who's minding the Nation when trump is raging ?

In a rare show of me being bipartisan lately, ZERO GOP lawmakers are defending trump on this CT. Otoh, the current committees investigating Russian connections have included trump's charges.

With ACA, the Freedom Caucus looked pretty serious and honest today, along with several influential conservative groups, like the Koch brothers. Meanwhile, Paul Ryan looked silly trying to defend his Obamacare-Lite that may kick 20 million people off insurance rolls .
