Trump personally met with Russian ambassador during campaign

Bull crap, the M-bating to Russia going on from your side is worse. You are acting like its no big deal Kislyak seems to be everywhere in the Trump administration even though, no other head of state from another country has been that visible. Why doesn't Trump like other countries as much as he seems to like Russia? The question is there.

they have been visible, but all anyone reports about is the Russian. There were other ambassadors there....your linked article even says it.
 
A few years back, I had meetings with many NFL players. Almost all the New York Giants. Many MLB people too. Lot's of NHLer's, etc... Oh yeah, right there in person. Not front row, like the Russian dude, but we were all there together and I watched them do what they do. Even some personal contact here and there.

What is now painfully obvious is that Trump's word is worth nothing. He very likely had zero contacts with Russia. But since he's lied so many times, he simply isn't to be believed in his word anymore. Unfortunately everything he says now needs to be verified.

Right below the "RESIST" t-shirt ad where it says the following: "Donate to our Trump Investigative fund and get the shirt"... Well, right below the shirt is this quote:

I don't think a "meet and greet" is what we are talking about. Both sides of the aisle do it and it's part of the duty of a politician or any other community leader. What the root of the accusations are is whether Trump discussed government business with the Russians.

Yes. Diplomats and citizens and politicians meet all the time. Part of the job is to develop relationships and to try to prevent misunderstandings. Diplomats often are the first line of defense when the **** hits the fan.

The difference is, those of us not sucking on Trump's dick can and will criticize any politician we see fit especially one that messes up as royally as he has been doing. I can name maybe three things that he's done that I like, and that's a stretch.

When I saw the thread, I was interested. When I started reading and saw "Think Progress" was the source, all credibility was gone until I checked it out. I went to the article and, as usual with this garbage website, it's a load of crap.

People are missing the point. So did other senators and President Barack Obama. What is the point of having an Embassy and an Ambassador if you aren't going to work with them or speak with them. This whole thing is a bunch of nonsense.

Man, this is really getting old. There isn't a person on this site that truly believes that Trump conspired with the Russians to get elected. I laugh even as I type this. We do, however, have evidence that citizens were wire tapped and we saw what Barack Obama did in his last hours to release confidential information to so many other departments (he had a specific reason people - stop and think about why he did this). And we know now that the CIA has all kinds of ways to spy on Americans and they keep doing it and most of all, they aren't sorry about it they're just mad they are getting caught. And, all Dems want to talk about is Russia and Trump. Nothing about the lies of Pelosi. Nothing of the lies of Schummer. Nothing about Barack Obama and his corruption. Look at the corruption in the IRS in Barack Obama's time. The craziness of the Hillary scandal that continued to go on for years. You guys think Trump is the crazy one? Wow, women in our country today are marching for what? We (and I'm a woman) have it so much better than I for one could have ever dreamed. It's time everyone put on their big boy britches and started to live back in reality.

Trump is not the reason for all your failures and misgivings. We've got to stop this nonsense. The truth is, our kids and their kids are going to pay the price. I believe the truth is going to come out about what the government has been up to and the games many left behind from Obama are still doing. Have you noticed that Obama and Lynch and no one that has the ability to make a public statement about the tweets, has actually put their word on the line and said this is not true? Why is that? Why? We can make fun of Trump all day long about tweeting - but be very wary of the person who will never, ever put anything in writing. That's the Obama and Lynch conspiracy no one is really talking about.

The load of crap is that the guy sat in the audience, did not have a personal meeting with Trump, unless I missed something. Think Progress said that they had a personal meeting. Did they? I didn't see anything other than them being in the same room with a lot of other people.

Hate to dash your hopes but the truth is if there was any evidence of collusion whatsover it would have been leaked right along with the Flynn transcripts oreven before.

Or do you think the Obama Political appointees who commited felonies by leaking the transcripts drew the line when it came to leaking any real worthwhile evidence ?

I don't think people are missing that point. I haven't heard anyone say that this meeting was nefarious. It's something that would be absolutely expected of any presidential nominee.

But the point is that Trump denied it. And he denied it because denying easily provable contact with the Russians is apparently easier than having to explain the contact he certainly did have. And that's the problem.

I get it. He was a candidate for president. It's not uncommon for them to meet with diplomats from the world's strongest nations.

... Let's see how long it takes them to deny it happened and simply refute reality.

Ah, I don't think so.... Clapper denied knowing of a FISA court warrant to surveill, but I do not believe he said much beyond that. What is your cite for the above statement.
