Full headline: "President Trump suggests anti-Semitic threats across U.S. are coming from within Jewish community."

In multiple incidents of threats to Synagogues, community centers, and several large scale cases of vandalism to Jewish cemetery headstones, Trump reminds us this could all just be one giant black flag operation made to look "others" look bad.

Classy.

Is there ever a time when he's not throwing red meat to his base?

President Trump appeared to suggest Tuesday that the wave of bomb threats against Jewish community centers across the U.S. could be coming from within the Jewish community itself, according to a Pennsylvania state lawmaker present for the comments.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, who was part of a group of state attorneys general meeting with Trump at the White House Tuesday, relayed Trump's comments about the bomb threats to Buzzfeed News, explaining that the commander-in-chief seemed to indicate he felt some of the threats were being made from the inside, as part of potential effort "to make others look bad."

"He just said, 'sometimes it's the reverse, to make people, or to make others, look bad,'" Shapiro said, repeating Trump's alleged response to questions during the meeting about the large number of bomb threats against Jewish community centers in recent months.

Appeared? Change the title of the thread. The quote is the opening of your link.

"President Trump spoke out Tuesday against the wave of anti-Semitic threats against Jewish community centers, calling them “horrible” reminders of the bigotry that still exists in the country.

“The anti-Semitic threats targeting our Jewish community and community centers are horrible and are painful and a very sad reminder of the work that still must be done to root out hate and prejudice and evil,” Trump said after touring the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C."

It would be just like the SCROTUS to start crying "false flag" at real live terror threats.

Those who claim to be the victim are very often found to be the abusers...this is nothing but net...all fact.

This nonsense about how those who claim to be victims must be the good people has to go.

As usual Trump is right, find out who the bad guys are before making accusations.

Victim culture has to go go go.

It is hurting America.

First, the title doesn't match the quotes Trump allegedly made.
Second, do we now believe that stuff like that does not happen?

That is NOT relevant to Today's News.
It's from 2/21. See your link I broke.
Your citation was a read prepared speech, today it was Trump's own candid words.

Problematic though, all these Reports/quotes from Shapiro/Pa-Atty-Gen seem to have originated at 'Buzzfeed', so one should await some confirmation.
The same Buzzfeed that singly printed the "Russian Gotcha intelligence" report on Trump, some basics of which has been confirmed, if Not the salacious part.
WaPo has the story, but it too is citing Buzzfeed.

Some of them probably are. It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

That does not sound like Trump's own words.

Those are Trump's own words. Trump speaks in vague, incoherent non-sequiturs. Very rarely do his statements have the syntax of the first statement.

Jews are some of the most racist and xenophobic people you'll find... especially in the context of religion.

Don't know the facts behind this quote but smells of bull****. His daughter and son in law are a converted Jew and a Jew respectively.

Actually, Jews are about the most secular/even atheist religion, and intermarry at a 60% rate in America, where they are accepted. Trump's Daughter, Kennedy's Daughter, Clinton's Daughter, etc.
A good do if you can arrange it. :^)

Yes my point exactly. Lots of in group preference.

Incorrect.
Your point was bigoted nonsense.
I refuted it.
You have no answer except the bizarre/wacky/upside-down idea that was 'your point.'

Hm, must of misinterpreted what you said.

Don't think it's deniable that Jews have a high amount of ingroup preference, which isn't inherently bad I'm just pointing that out.

Anyway, gotta log for a bit.

During my lifetime Presidents have rarely used their own words, they pay people for that. Trump actually does this far less than anyone I have ever seen. The dude has lots to do, this I want to see speeches delegated out more, not less. .

I strongly disagree. Most Jews are very secular, and most Jews intermarry. I am proof of that. My father's ancestors moved from Scotland to Ireland, where they lived for generations before coming to America. My mother was a Jew. There was just one problem with that. I wanted to be a cop like many of my father's ancestors were, but being half Irish and half Jewish killed that dream. After all. If I saw a man jaywalking, I wouldn't know whether to give him a shot of whiskey with his ticket or stone him to death.

And that wasn't easy considering how short and to the point my post was.

I just posted a stat contrary to that claim, as well pointing out, far from "Racist/Xenophobic", Jews are more secular/atheist than most, and also arguably the least racist/most Civil Rights conscious group in America.
ie, the NAACP was mostly a Jewish lead group in it's first decades.

As this post demonstrates, water finds its own level.

Does this mean that turning over headstones in a cemetery is a real live terror act?

It's a hate crime.

Vandalism morphs into a hate crime. Soon, that will morph into a terrorist act. Corrupt the language first, and what follows naturally is the corruption of the thought processes.

No, the vandalism didn't morph into a hate crime. The hate was there first, which is why the asshole or assholes vandalized the cemetery.

And how do we know hatred was there first? What if the perps were just drunk and in the right place at the right time?
