Democratic congresswoman Maxine Waters went off on a bunch of advisors and aides to President Trump for their Russian ties and called them a “bunch of scumbags.”She spoke with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes about what she has deemed Trump’s “Kremlin clan,” including Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Carter Page, and Rex Tillerson.She went point-by-point down a list of people with troubling ties, all of whom she said want sanctions lifted on Russia, before saying this:“Can’t people see what’s going on? Why do you think they hacked into our election? They hacked into the election because they have to make sure that Donald Trump got elected, so that he could help them with what I think is a huge deal––not only to lift these sanctions, but to take over all of these Soviet countries and pull ’em back into the Soviet Union so that they could have access to all of these resources. It’s clear to me. And I just think the American people had better understand what’s going on. This is a bunch of scumbags, that’s what they are.”

Look, I am certainly no fan of Trump, but for a sitting congressman to call much of his advisors / cabinet "a bunch of scumbags" is absolutely shameful.

Oh really? The "man" who threw out all decency on his way into the White House deserves decency in return? Oh hell no. Waters is just giving the SCROTUS a little taste of his own medicine.

It's Maxine Waters. She's such a kook and has said so many stupid things that this doesn't even seem like it's that big of a deal... even though it should be.

Maxine Waters is certifiable. I don't know what's in the water in her district that she keeps getting re-elected, but I cringe every time I see her face on tv.

What about Felix Sater?
Sater -- more than anyone else -- may be the holder of the secrets upon which the future of Trump's presidency depends. The man has a long history of close ties to Russian oligarchs, American organized crime...and Donald Trump. In the 1990s and 2000s, when Trump was desperate to write "The Art of the Comeback" (which indeed was the title of his sequel), convicted felon Sater arrived as a source of capital for some of Trump's projects -- with an office in Trump Tower and business cards proclaiming that he was a senior adviser to The Donald.

Sater, now 50, of Port Washington (Long Island), is a felon, but has also been praised as a valued government informant.

Trump worked with Bayrock Group LLC, the company for which the Moscow-born Sater, who grew up in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, was an executive.

Bayrock partnered with Trump on a SoHo project and others in which Trump branded luxury real estate deals. Sater also worked with the Trump Organization on a failed hotel deal in Moscow and other projects, including one in Denver.

Sater, at one point, had business cards identifying himself as a senior adviser to Trump, and had an office on the same floor as the future president’s at 725 Fifth Ave., although Trump has made efforts to distance himself.

Despite the fact that Trump now denies he ever had any Russian connections, there is an interview with Donald Jr from 2008 which says otherwise.
"And in terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets; say in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia. There's indeed a lot of money coming for new-builds and resale reflecting a trend in the Russian economy and, of course, the weak dollar versus the ruble," he said.

I get a similar feeling when Congressman Steve King of Iowa is on TV. I keep saying in my mind, "Please don't speak. Please don't speak."

The district is centered in South Los Angeles County and includes portions of the Cities of Los Angeles, Carson, Gardena and Torrance. It includes the entirety of the cities of Hawthorne, Lawndale, Inglewood and Lomita.

a very liberal part of CA like the rest of it.
