Donald Trump’s family’s trips have cost taxpayers nearly as much in a month as Barack Obama’s cost in an entire year.

he US President’s three visits to his Mar-a-Lago club in Floridasince his presidential inauguration, combined with his sons’ business trips, reportedly cost $11.3m (£9.1m).
Conservative watchdog Judicial Watch estimated Mr Obama’s travel expenses totalled an average $12.1m in each of his eight years in the White House.

Personally, in the scheme of things I think its not that much money considering how much the government spends every year. However, I sure do remember a lot of right wingers on here bitching about any family vacation the Obama's ever took.

Of course they will, don't you remember all the threads they started about Trump hating America when he compared the United States to the murderous dictator Putin. They don't treat him any differently than they would any president with a D after their name.....;)

I actually am not overly concerned with it because in terms of government spending, its like chasing pennies while waisting dollars. My problem is with the shear hypocrisy of it.

Trump isn't the hypocrite -- anyone with a brain knew from the beginning that he wasn't really conservative.

So-called conservatives who applaud this or say nothing -- yep - hypocrites.

I wouldn't use the word 'style' with the current occupant of the Oval Office. More the method to his madness and we all have to deal with it, each in our own way. I was just making an observation, had to deal with guys like him before, just never figured it would be a President... :peace

Judging by later comments, the answer is that the fiscal conservatives who spent 8 years aiming 180 decibles of rage at Obama over his vacations and expenses do not have to weigh in on this because Trump is not, in fact, a conservative.
