As of Friday, a search for Trump Home items on both retailers' sites yielded no results, except items sold by third-party sellers.

"As part of the company’s initiative to optimize its online product assortment, we constantly refine that assortment to focus on our most profitable items," a Sears Holdings spokesperson told Business Insider. "Amid that streamlining effort, 31 Trump Home items were among the items removed online this week. Products from the line are still offered online via third-party Marketplace vendors."

Sears and Kmart drop Trump - Business Insider

Looks like Trump's brand is getting hammered.

Meanwhile the facts are coming out...the WSJ no less.

Sales of First Daughter Ivanka Trump's merchandise at Nordstrom's had tumbled sharply prior to the 2016 election, The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, which hastened the retail giant's decision to drop the brand.
Nordstrom's move triggered a furious partisan back-and-forth this week, with President Donald Trump and his senior counselor Kellyanne Conway using official channels to criticize the company, with critics suggesting they may have run afoul of government ethics rules.
The Journal, citing internal data from the Seattle-based department store chain, indicates sales of Ms. Trump's fashion line had plummeted by nearly a third in the last fiscal year. In particular, that dive quickened just before November's U.S. presidential election

Sears is a a dying brand anyway. I'll be shocked if it's not defunct by the end of the year.

Ahem...Kmart is owned by sears, so it's pretty much a given it would follow suit.

What I find funny is that we are supposed to care about these failing stores.

Honestly, I don't even get how K-mart is still a thing. That crap is taking ****ing forever to disappear.

Sears dumped Kraftsman tools as well. The chain is struggling bigly, but there is no question that Trumps entrance into politics and his antics have damaged his brand significantly among about half the country.

Yes it is no secret Sears is dying, but they are only a sampling of the many retailers that have dumped the Trump brand. Belk, Jet, Shopstyle, Neimans, T.J. Maxx, and Belacor have already axed her lines.

I'd feel better if he disappeared from the White House, but that's beside the point! :2razz:

Nordstrom, Neimans, Belk, etc are hardly failing.

Trump has a line of home furnishings?

Do they grab your crotch when you get near them?

Or your *****cat?

On the flip side of the coin, look at where Chik-Fil-e is at. Or the NFL. Some companies are supported for their political choices, some lose sales and so on. The free market works like that, people get choices. That said, I don't approve of Trump using official channels to chastise anyone for their business choices with his brands or those of his family.

Oh joy, oh joy liberal business are dropping Trump brand products. That is quite the accomplishment to hang your hat on!
Disagree with the left and the want to shut you down! The Trump attack plan form the left: Deny, Dispute, Destroy

Half the country can't AFFORD the Trump brand.

I didn't know Trump had a home furnishings line, so no big loss from my perspective. I'm more concerned with his relative success as president for the benefit of the country than how his business enterprises fare.

It's Trump's own damn fault his products and his daughter's products sales are down. He blames Nordstrom for dropping Ivanka's line of clothes when he should look no further than his own Twitter feed.

... at least they are doing smart things in desperation, throwing out unprofitable dead lines in favor of concentrating on what the people want (and it ain't anything bearing the name "Trump")

The other half wouldn't have it. It's gaudy, greed ware. There is money and there is class. They can and do co-exist, but not in the Trump family. The Trumps appear to scramble for some sort of legitimacy. The Trumps represent some of the worst effects raw capitalism has on it's weathly victims.

it sounds llike liberals stopped buying trump products as soon as he announced he was running for president as a republican

which they have the right to do

maybe if he loses enough money it will discourage other businessman from entering politics

which should make the closet marxists happy

Trump should be congratulating these retail outlets for helping to Make America Great Again by dumping revenue-losing products made in overseas sweatshops.

If you haven't noticed, customers have disappeared from K-Mart and Sears too.

From the article:
As of Tuesday, Sears was still selling 19 Trump Home items online and Kmart was selling 13, according to Shannon Coulter, the brand strategist who started the #GrabYourWallet Trump boycott.
I guess they haven't disappeared after all.

I had no idea that Trump also had a "home furnishing" line. Is everything made in China, like his daughter's products are?

He imports plenty of them. With Trump, his little go to lie is that the items he imports are no longer made here.

I read a long piece a few weeks ago about Sears. Sounds like their CEO is a piece of work, an incredible asshole, and completely incompetent at running a retail store. I'll look again for the article, but the guy does almost all his business from a home office in Florida by video link up, during which he routinely savagely berates employees. After reading the article, it's amazing he can keep anyone decent at that place. Lots of fishy stuff with Sears and transactions with other entities the CEO owns, so there is some suspicion he's basically looting the company of its assets, at least in part.
