Trump's line of home furnishings has disappeared from Sears' and Kmart's websites

Oh joy, oh joy liberal business are dropping Trump brand products. That is quite the accomplishment to hang your hat on!
Disagree with the left and the want to shut you down! The Trump attack plan form the left: Deny, Dispute, Destroy

Didn't think there was such a thing as a 'liberal' publicly traded business.

Prolly more likely they're dumping his brand because there are lots of brands out there and the "Trump" name is now toxic to lots of their customers, and so they believe they can make more MONEY stocking other brands that aren't polarizing. Just a guess...

it sounds llike liberals stopped buying trump products as soon as he announced he was running for president as a republican

which they have the right to do

maybe if he loses enough money it will discourage other businessman from entering politics

which should make the closet marxists happy

It's possible to be a politician and businessman and not alienate half the country. Our GOP Gov's family owns Pilot/Flying J gas/diesel stations, and I've seen no evidence that has hurt the stations - the family business seems to be doing great. But our governor isn't a deliberately polarizing figure who revels in pissing off his enemies. He just does his damn job, pretty competently really.

FWIW, I quit using them after they got caught deliberately cheating their small trucking customers, orchestrated and approved at the highest levels, probably including the Haslam CEO (brother to the Governor who hasn't been active in the business for years) given that several right below him and who reported to the CEO knew of and encouraged the fraud. There's a locally owned company with a bunch of stations that I use that isn't run by crooks.

Flying J is a multi state company

Most customers in Texas or Arizona do not even know who the governor of Tenn is or care

Besides, if Ivanka were selling truck driver stuff instead of high fashion girlie stuff she would have nothing to worry about

Sales would not be affected by her father's politics.

Finally, the only way to reform the political system in Washington and change the direction of the country is to piss a lot of people off

We meabubg trump.voters didn't elect him to be a business-as-usual politician but rather to rock the boat

Which he has and is doing

Maybe Trump will start putting in more liberal policies to help his businesses out. (Or maybe we should rethink the blatant conflict of interests here)

Changing policies will not earn amnesty for trump

The left will hate him with a passion till their dying day

I hope he understands that and continues playing to his base because they are all he has in the world on his side

Sadly his base can't afford any of his products. How many Trump properties are in red states? How many rural homes have Trump home furnishings? The US economy is very blue.

Trump isn't an ideologue. He doesn't give a rats ass about conservationism or liberalism. If being more liberal helps his business, what do you think he'll do?

By running for president as a republican and on a conservative platform that is toxic to the beatiful people it would seem that trump does not give a rats ass if it hurts his business or not

The beautiful people? Lol. Hardly. But yes.. the economy is blue. The people who spend money and pay taxes live in counties that voted for Clinton. Trump is from NY City, one of the most liberal places in the US. Just because Trump doesn't like immigrants doesn't mean he cares what happens to you.

You're assuming that Trump knew that running would hurt his business. Melania just filed a lawsuit in which she claimed that being First Lady would allow her earn hundreds of millions of dollars. There's been reporting that trump only ran to raise his profile to help to negotiate a better deal on the apprentice.

The only times Trump has gone into red states and districts was to scam them.

I guess I'm just not keeping up. I never notice Trump brands when I go shopping. Guess I need to go to better stores.

This post is lacking, in everything except nonsense.

Thanks for taking the time to write such an informed and insightful response! The amount of thought and intelligence that goes into your posts is clearly evident. It must certainly be a point of pride for you.

Sadly though, the economy IS blue. The average blue county has 9.2 times the gdp of the average red county. What do you think Trump is going to do once he realizes that he'll make a ton of money by enacting policies the people who buy his stuff want?

Sears and K-Mart have been doing so very well and have been blowing up the profits for so many years. It's unfortunate that Trump is making them fail. (lololol)

Trump Home items are made in Turkey, Germany, China, India, and Slovenia.

By the beautiful people I mean liberals who are only beautiful on the outside due to youth or the miracle of modern science and plastic surgery

On the inside they are ugly and spiteful so they need all the expensive trinkets they can afford to make themselves feel better

Hence my tacit agreement. ;)

The more money you're dealing with the uglier people get.

Everyone says ivanka trump is a very nice person

Ivanka Trump's PR department spends a lot of money to advertise how nice she is so I'm not suprised.

I'd never assume that a public figure is anything like what they seem, especially when they rely on their image for income. What you see is basically an act. Maybe she's a great person, maybe she's a terrible person. It doesn't much matter to me. Actions speak volumes, words are noise.

I don't knows her personally but those who do say she is the real deal

Why are Ivanka's clothes made in overseas sweatshops when she helped her father run on a campaign of "make things in America/buy American"?

Not really

Put tariffs on all imported clothes and make it a level playing field for everyone
