What a douchebag.

Freaking idiot.

I would hope that his account was pirated and that was not actually that wrote it. However, if it was, and if I lived in his district I would be collecting signatures in church tomorrow for a recall election and I'd play this over the church loud speakers:

Michigan GOP Official Calls For 'Another Kent State' For Campus Protesters | The Huffington Post

A Republican Party official in northern Michigan has issued what amounts to a death threat against American college protesters, calling for “another Kent State” in the wake of protests at the University of California, Berkeley.

Nothing to see here....

Nobody should be shot because you don't like their speech, and if they are breaking any laws, then arrest them and press charges. WTF

Personally, I don't buy his excuse... In my opinion, the comment "Time for another Kent State perhaps" can only be interpreted one way and I just can't fathom it being a grammatical error. I guess we all know why this man is the "former" chair of the county GOP, who's political career was obviously going backwards before he ever made those comments.

There was something else from the article that caught my eye. It was the description of Milo they gave. It said "...over a scheduled speech by ultra-conservative provocateur and white nationalist Milo Yiannopoulos"

I understand the liberal Huffington Post labeling him an "ultra-conservative provocateur", but falsely labeling him a "white nationalist" is not only wrong, but it can easily serve as justification for more violent protest to take place at his next event. It's another example of the left playing race-card politics, which has already led to the poorest race relations this country has seen in a quarter century... It really needs to stop before it tears this nation completely apart and people start dying in the streets... Unless of course that's what it's intended to do...

A recall election? He's not an elected official nor does he have a district... he just volunteers at the local county GOP office

BTW - his comment was in poor taste, it was wrong and it does not reflect the attitude of any conservative that I know.

Is he really a GOP official?

He's a former chair of the Marquette County Republicans. Marquette County is an Upper Peninsula county of about 67,000 people. Also his comment in response to this story:
“What I was trying to get across, apparently very poorly, is that the violence at the college campus in Berkeley was reminiscent of the violence on college campuses in the ’60s,” said Adamini, who hosts a local radio program, “In the Right Mind,” on WDMJ/WIAN. “I fear that if we cannot get a handle on the violence, we might see the same type of tragic end,” he told The Mining Journal.

“I was not calling for violence against the protesters. I was calling for a stop to the violence by the protesters.”

He said he has taken down his Facebook page because of “hateful” comments.

Why are you saying "Nothing to see here?"

These inciteful posts should, as Beaudreau says, send his butt packing. Like right NOW. If he has broken any laws, as SheWolf says, he should be immediately prosecuted... even if they don't think they'll get a conviction. $25,000 to $50,000 in legal fees ought to shut him up.

You want deplorables, DP Left? You've just read about one. Disgusting.

"Nothing to see here" is pretty much what I anticipated would be said by conservatives. I ended up being correct.

So your position is that it's all liberals' fault. Sounds about right.

Unless a liberal says it. Then it represents all liberals.

So you start a thread designed to show how the words of one republican represents all republicans, then turn around and whine about people who do exactly what you just did.

Heres your clock => :cuckoo:

Did I say it represents all Republicans? Please be so kind as to quote me saying that.

That was the whole point of posting the thread.

Do you have a problem when it comes to reading comprehension?

My opinion on what that idiot said was crystal clear and without caveats. I said:

I assigned that man 100% of the blame for what he said, which begs the question "what in the hell are you talking about?"

You said that, but the remaining paragraphs were a screed against liberals.

I'd be willing to bet that one bullet would also be capable of stopping Dan Ademini.

Allison Krause would approve.
