i don't agree. Sanders fired up the base pretty well, and he's definitely not young. it's more about the plan and how it's being messaged. right now, i don't even know what their plan is, and neither does anyone else, because they aren't messaging effectively. that means that they need new people in charge, and they had better choose them carefully.

Sanders is not even in the party, he just ran for POTUS using their brand. The others lack any real message that would gain them popular support. At least Sanders was honest about seeing the need for massive income redistribution programs (funded via higher federal taxation) to give away more free stuff.

Making college (tuition) free does not mean all would actually succeed in getting a college degree, just the (more expensive?) chance to try to get one. Graduation rates (in 4 to 5 years) are not going to change by making tuition free.

The mental examination is already conducted by the voters. Are you saying that FDR should have been disqualified if he had had a physical examination? As far as the physical examination goes, I don't see where it is really all that necessary. As with John or Jane Doe citizen, the healthiest person may get run over by a truck tomorrow while someone with a terminal disease might easily live more than eight years. Also, a campaign is grueling so if one can make it through that then they are probably healthy enough to be president. Also again, they do have this position called vice president just in case something does happen to the president.

Obama people learned early on that the opposition party stood against every thing the majority of Americans (both EC and popular,) wanted and they refused to capitulate to the will of America. They obstructed and resisted our will. Twice.

It seems like the Trumpster is being protested around the world today.
I am reminded of an old saying. "The whole marching band was out of step, except Johnny."
I hope we have a lot of marching bands at the Super Bowl tomorrow. I love marching bands.
