Steve Bannon in 2016: legal immigration is the real “problem"

I love the Freudian slip here that illegal immigrants are voting in our elections and that's why Democrats are so lax with their enforcement.

something that nobody has been able to prove with any verifiable evidence.

Evidence is for liberals. On the right, opinion is enough to substitute for fact. Unless it's an opinion other than Trump's, then you need evidence which will be discounted as obviously false because He is always right.

Steve Bannon - lol...a fat, hairy, bum-looking, ding dong.

He is Trump's 'yes' man.

That really adds to the post .

Over a million immigrants a year is a lot, we should certainly have a debate on what is the right number.

Bannon appears to be talking about 61 million people here on work visas flooding our job market and how it's not good for the American worker. Did you read something else?

That liberal filter was working full time . Why bother to read the article when you can imply whatever you wish !

If liberals cared about evidence their assertions would be backed by science most every time, and they would demand that science not be allowed to be corrupted by politics, which is most certainly not the case.

Well science doesn't back many, if any, of Trump's assertions. I know your definition of "not politically motivated" means "I like the conclusion" but science doesn't work like that.

It works for Trump. I thought you liked that sort of thing.

I am of the TTT (Truth Teller Tribe), as such I demand that science work on the back of reason and the evidence from experiment, that the desired outcome of the project matters not at all.

Damn few from the left show up to support the cause.

They tend to be too busy driving to UTOPIA.

Lol lets not pretend that there exists criterion that you would accept as proof lol.

Oh yeah, the Breitbart article from the gay Jew and the mixed Pakistani who say they don't identify with the alt right is your proof that Bannon is alt right.

I have and it says and doesnt say what you say it did

Bannon sort of suggests the 61 million people are guest workers but never actually states that. What he actually states is the 61 million people in the US are immigrants. Which would include citizens, and people with green cards.

So what in your estimate is Bannon's problem with the "61 million"? Is it that it's harder to find good work for an American born citizen or another reason? And if it's racism, tell me why?

You srated 61 million on work Visa's

That was wrong.

As for Bannon, my problem is that thw vast majority of the 61 million are full citizens of the US. His attitude and those who think like him feel they are less American then those born in the US.

As for whether it is racism,
I would need to know if he feels that European immigrants are the same as say Latin American immigrants or if he just means non european immigrants

I expect he does not mind european immigrants but is thinking more on latin american immigrants and Latin American citizens born in the US..

He should remember that there is a significant number of European immigrants that have been here for 30+ years

Pot meet kettle

Sure, he's a white nationalist. Anyone who doesn't recognize that just isn't really paying attention. Dress it up if you want, but that's the core of the philosophy.

Prove it.

How is he going to prove it to you if you're just going to say "that's not proof" ?

It really is amazing. A liberal farts and suddenly we have proof (to some) that liberalism is all about suppressing conservatives, destroying America, whatever-meme-of-the-day.

Someone associated with Trump can do or say anything and they are protected by a new proof beyond all imaginable doubt standard.

You're right, Bannon is talking about total immigrants, which I didn't really think too much about in the first place because Bannon's point then as now is the influx of immigrants into our labor market. It's a concern about jobs, and I don't know how it could be taken any other way.

Concerning your second point about believing they're less American, I disagree with your opinion. America can handle so much before we start to feel the stress of over population which can cause lack of opportunites, do you disagree with that? Bannon's point in the interview is quality jobs for Americans first. He's not talking about deporting new American immigrants, he's brainstorming about where we are now and were we need to go in the future. Opening the gates to America for every single person is a nice thought, but there are consequences.

Looks like you don't have proof either.
