The Secretary of Defense is statutorily part of the NSC, so the Chairman nor any of the Joint Chiefs would be required. If the POTUS needs a recommendation for military action he would then go the JCOS to get one.

I recommend you look up what the NSC is and who is a part of the NSC. From reading the posts above, I feel that if you would all educate yourselves regarding the NSC you would see where you've tremendously overreacted because the NSC is not what you must think it is.

Liberal leftists will never know the answers to those and so many other questions about The Trump Presidency. You know why? Because President Trump WON. He's the president now. Isn't it funny how when all else fails, losers resort to name calling? President Donald J. Trump! Has a nice ring to it. At least eight more years, who knows, maybe we'll just make him President in perpetuity because of service above and beyond the call of his Country.

Actually they are acting like the fascists especially if the Brexit vote is reversed. In our own country we see violence and intolerance from them. I have said it before, Churchill warned us the next fascists will insist they are anti-fascist. That is what the Left looks like right now.
 
I don't have a problem with them "sitting in" on the meetings at times; David Axelrod also did this, and so long as they're cleared for that information I can see a "need to know" if they are advising the President.

I however have a strong problem with them actually being given a seat and a place at the table to engage in discussions of the NSC, and I have an issue with the idea of putting them there while removing logical participants like your military and intelligence leaders.
