I disagree with your thoughts that President Obama was giving a nod to the transgender community.

I post on many subjects on the DP of which I have interest in ,including but not limited to the economy , discrimination, education, women's issues, the Detroit 3 auto industry, etc., but I do try to stay out of the typical ideological bashing threads.
