35-Page Report Alleging Trump Was "Cultivated, Supported And Assisted" By Russia

Just an example of a conspiracy theory.

Are we in that forum you just mentioned?

I can see why the rightists don't want to deal with the OP.

tillerson/trump/putin = GOPrussians;

Only 674 days until 11/6/2018 ..

Not yet.

'As reported moments ago, CNN is leading with a story about a 35-page dossier compiled by a former member of British intelligence, which had been distilled into a 2-page appendix presented to Trump last Friday by the US intel community, and which contains "explosive, but unverified, allegations" that the Russian government has been "cultivating, supporting and assisting" President-elect Donald Trump for at least 5 years and "endorsed by Putin" gained compromising information about him, with the aim of "encouraging splits and divisions in the western alliance."

The memo has allegedly been circulating among elected officials, intelligence agents, and journalists for weeks.'

Thoughts?

This ain't gonna turn out like some people think but it's gonna be real fun to watch.

Imagine if Agnew hadn't been thrown out as VP.

Though too socially conservative to the point it made him unpopular in his run for reelection in Indiana and cost his state economically, I've got enough trust in Pence we'll be okay .

What does that date matter? (And I cant believe you actually counted up the days) Like there is a democrat out there who can beat him in 2020 lol. The number you seek is Trumps last day in office, which will be sometime in January of 2025. Do have the countdown figure on that yet?

Allegations can be just gossip. But this allegation isn't one of them. Will it be proven? Only time will tell. But this is no tabloid smear story. Professional media outlets have always and should always report serious allegations regarding the President of the United States.

I read your statement and noticed some inconsistencies. You point out that allegations can be gossip and ask if these allegations will be proven. Then you admit that they might not be. If they aren't then aren't the allegations gossip or does that only apply to lies that are fabricated by the right and not the left?

Your next sentence states:
"But this is no tabloid smear story. Professional media outlets have always and should always report serious allegations regarding the President of the United States."
The information hasn't been vetted or corroborated by anyone. CNN even stated that fact and then rationalized running the story anyway.

That leave me to wonder, do you believe everything that you read? Do you not question anything? Maybe it is that you only blindly believe anything that reinforces your political ideology, regardless of how ridiculous that information is. I don't know. Not my problem. I don't believe anyone or anything on face value that I don't know very well. Some people welcome the pumping of smoke up their ass. I don't.

There is no way in hell Tillerson should be confirmed. The guy has more red flags than a construction zone. Russia wants Tillerson. You have to wonder if there was collusion in Trump's appointing him.

And Bob Gates recommending him. And HIllary Clinton liking him too. Yep...all of them in cahoots with THE RUSSIANS

Looks like the Manchurian Muslim has been replaced by the Russian boogieman as the new magnet for the stupid.

Agnew was an idiot. I often wonder why he was ever picked as VP. I am glad Nixon didn't pardon him.

He was the governor of Maryland--that geography thing.

Picking Pence was the number one thing that helped GOP voters come to trump.

tillerson ducking questions on russian sanctions is just one more reason for me to trash trump.

I'm watching Corker, my pick for SoS, and other GOP senators who go on the record .

You got the gate part right.

ADL: trump's nazi comments trivialize the Holocaust.

trump packs his news conference with paid aides ready to jeer reporters.

I'm expecting a twitter storm before tomorrow's AM news shows .

McCain is the only Republican on the Hill who appears to have any integrity - not to mention the cojones to see this through.

A man who met with Syrian terrorists is, to you, a person with integrity?

LOL

I was thinking perhaps you wanted to learn the truth on your own. I guess I was wrong.

Carry on.

P.S. the roadblock is something carrying the heading; Credibility

Here, a gift:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/10/business/buzzfeed-donald-trump-russia.html?_r=0

In a brief interview in the Times newsroom on Tuesday evening, Dean Baquet, the executive editor of The Times, said the paper would not publish the document because the allegations were “totally unsubstantiated.”

“We, like others, investigated the allegations and haven’t corroborated them, and we felt we’re not in the business of publishing things we can’t stand by,” Mr. Baquet said.

When the NY Times, which spent most of the prez campaign attacking Trump, is calling this thing bull****....

Oops.
On the plus side, I have greater respect for the reporters who decided to not to violate journalist ethics.
Reporting this tabloid style stuff in CNN, was below standard.

CNN just blew up it's credibility. The Rolling Stone was nearly destroyed over an unsubstantiated rape allegation that turned out to be a bag of falsehoods.

CNN just wanted to attack Trump. To hell with verifying the accuracy, it was something to use against Trump and they fired it off....and it blew up in their faces.

"A former" blah blah blah writes a report about "unverified, allegations" about blah blah blah ... CNN is so desperate for another plane to disappear.

I'm waiting on the report with the verified facts. In fact, you can call me Detective Sergeant Joseph "Joe" Friday - - Just the facts, ma'am. Just the facts.

However, if it turns out to be true, feces should be readied to be flung fiercely at the rotating air oscillator.

It may be prudent to stock up on some survival gear; drinking water and canned food, at least.

I thought CNN only cited US intelligence, not the 35page buzzfeed report.

McCain is the only Republican on the Hill who appears to have any integrity - not to mention the cojones to see this through.

Lol McCain himself said he had no idea if they were true or not but he still went to the FBI with this unverified and unverifiable democratic operative created hatchet job, he needs to either retire or a real Republican needs to challenge him in the next election, either way he needs to go with his never Trump BS.

I thought CNN only cited US intelligence, not the 35page buzzfeed report.

That is what they are citing and this was not US intelligence in fact the only thing US intelligence has to do with it is bringing it to Trump as an example of disinformation.

The debunking is well under way.

Welcome to the forum, with two of your three posts defending trumpistan and this one trashing McCain.

Did you agree with the draft-dodger trump smearing McCain and Prisoners of War as losers ?

No it isn't. Why are you trying to pass off this cheap lie?

"CNN has reviewed a 35-page compilation of the memos, from which the two-page synopsis was drawn. The memos have since been published by Buzzfeed. The memos originated as opposition research, first commissioned by anti-Trump Republicans, and later by Democrats. At this point, CNN is not reporting on details of the memos, as it has not independently corroborated the specific allegations. But, in preparing this story, CNN has spoken to multiple high ranking intelligence, administration, congressional and law enforcement officials, as well as foreign officials and others in the private sector with direct knowledge of the memos."

The debunking is well under way.

As is the continued deflection and denial of trumposters.

Welcome to the multi-faceted trumpgate.

At least Pence is far better than Agnew .
