35-Page Report Alleging Trump Was "Cultivated, Supported And Assisted" By Russia

GOP senators like Rubio are only now voicing concern that both parties have been played against each other.

If it comes to it, Pence will be an adequate lame duck.

Who should get ZERO Supreme Court picks .

Seems to me the proper response is this: to take it under advisement. We will know based on Trump's actions whether the allegations are likely to be true or false.

I prefer to call him a GOPrussian from trumpistan .
Call him whatever you like. I'm not falling for it any more than I fell for most of what was said about Obama. The evidence here is no more compelling. It's just being packaged and presented by a different production company.

someone should write a book, Titled, "The numerous ways the democrats try to foil the Trump Presidency"

The GOPrussians already wrote that book beginning 11/4/2008 .

Allegations...a leading story on CNN.

My thoughts are? More mudslinging from the Alt-Left. :coffeepap:

CNN is alt-left?
Nah, that's just mudslinging from someone who doesn't know what the term means.

Not a book. That'll be a chapter in the book, "PINO- How Donald Trump Turned the Presidency into a Figurehead Position".

I am curious, did you vote for Hillary? I find few libertarian values consistent with Hillary.

I didn't, but I didn't vote for Trump either. I find few libertarian values consistent with him too. He is about as authoritarian as they come.

Why isn't this in the CT forum?

Seemed the place for it was here. This 35 page report is certainly big news.

You don't like it...go and whine to the mods.

Here comes some more tds---trump deflection syndrome.

Why isn't this in the CT forum?

How about responding to the OP or hit the report button ?

I did respond to the OP. I think it's pretty clear my implication is that this is trash unworthy of honest consideration.

Your implication is of zero value.

'As reported moments ago, CNN is leading with a story about a 35-page dossier compiled by a former member of British intelligence, which had been distilled into a 2-page appendix presented to Trump last Friday by the US intel community, and which contains "explosive, but unverified, allegations" that the Russian government has been "cultivating, supporting and assisting" President-elect Donald Trump for at least 5 years and "endorsed by Putin" gained compromising information about him, with the aim of "encouraging splits and divisions in the western alliance."

The memo has allegedly been circulating among elected officials, intelligence agents, and journalists for weeks.'

Well, this does get interesting.

Because I've been calling-out the Paul Manafort connection for just about forever! And he has been under FBI investigation for Russian ties at least since Trump pulled him off the campaign last year due to the FBI heat. And if the document is to be believed, Manafort is a bag man, among other things. A similar situation happened to Clarence Carter who is also under FBI investigation due to Russian interactions, and Trump dropped him too last year. Both figure prominently in this report. There also was another Trump Campaign high-level guy too, with the exact same circumstance, but I don't remember who he is.

So as to FBI investigations of Trump's campaign people, this definitely was occurring last year, Trump was aware of it, and he dismissed his operatives due to their being the subjects of the investigation.

But here's the deal I don't understand: The compromise is supposedly Trump's sexual perversions with prostitutes while he stayed in his Moscovite hotel over the years. Trump and his entourage are not idiots. They would know they were monitored, and could be liable for blackmail. So why would he do this?

This last, makes no sense.

Get ready for a multi-faceted trumpgate.

Just how much do you think tillerson and putin have on trump?

And now trump wants to squash any power the intelligence agencies have to investigate trumpistan .

When, or if, facts actually get presented, then we'll know.

Thanks for post that. My first thought is that most of the people braying here haven't read and won't read it. There has been a great deal of background information - various reputable sources and over a period of time - that help paint the big picture. In fact, it seems that they are all convinced that this is all about email hacking. That alone tells us they haven't brought themselves up to speed. Also, it tells me that they aren't going to read detailed information you might provide.

First, they will deny it even though they don't really understand what exactly they are denying

Second, if the information is determined to be credible and is reported as such they will attack the source and continue their denial.

Third, they will discount the value and implications of the truth. Part of that will be because they haven't done due diligence and won't.

I'm not going to bother to look it up here but I know that some of the people braying about the story and demanding truth or nothing at all are some of the same people who were all over Clinton's and the DNC emails before the facts were known.
Well, here is an interesting thing about this:

Both Paul Manafort and Carter Page, high level Trump organization operatives, have indeed been under FBI investigation since mid-last year concerning Russian improprieties, and both were dismissed without comment by the campaign. Both are featured prominently (and criminally) in this document. Tump's campaign also had a third guy caught-up in this to the same effect, but I don't remember who he is. I also only skimmed through the document, stopping at interesting points.

Now my statements above don't assure this document is legit. But Trump's highest level campaign people have had to leave his organization in mid-campaign due to the FBI investigating them for improprieties involving the Russian government.

As the FBI investigates one thing is for certain, Carer Page, Manafort, Cohen and a few others are undoubtedly being investigated for treason, among other things. Trump has a bucket of trouble to sweat if even some the allegations are correct.

Looks like the Manchurian Muslim has been replaced by the Russian boogieman as the new magnet for the stupid.
Out of respect for Donald's skill at Proper Personal Noun wordplay, I coined him "Whiny Donald".

It fit him perfectly, but still seemed missing the cutting bite of "Crooked Hillary", or the slinging slash of "Lyin' Ted Cruz."

But after reading your post, it occurred to me: "Trump the Traitor"!

It has everything I was looking for. It's perfect!
