White cop tackles black mom after she called police for help[W:295]

My sister has a white neighbor with a son the same age who pushed to the ground by another neighbor. You bet your ass he called the police. He said that had he not done so, they would have come anyway, but would have been hauling two guys away instead of one.

This woman absolutely did the right thing.

She did not do the right thing and this is an example of why so many black people get arrested

They get excited, lose their temper and self control and the police finally have to arrest them or worse

You said:

This reminds me of black women who call 911 because they didn't get as much shrimp in their fried rice as they expected

There are exceptions but every white person I know would have handled the incident neighbor to neighbor
This is nothing like calling 911 over fast food. It was the right decision to call the police.

Lol, She had every right to be angry when the guy laid his hands on her child and then the cop has the nerve to question her.

EDIT: I just got through watching the video, you have got to be kidding me if you are actually going to try and defend that BS.

How would a white person handle a smart alec white cop?

Most white people would do what I wrote in a previous post and go over the cops head to his supervisor instead of battling it out on the street

The cop was the only one "battling it out". He got mouthy with the woman then grabbed the girl when she got between him and the woman. The woman that got thrown to the ground didn't appear to have done a doggone thing until the cop went after her.

I have dealt with smart alec cops. The last time I had to deal with one he was going to arrest me for not appearing in court for a DUI. He had a match on my name but the birth date didn't match. I told him to look for my name with a matching date. He said that he was going to arrest me and sort it out later. I stayed calm. I calmly told him that he needed to call a supervisor because he wasn't big enough to get me in the back of his patrol car alone. He called a supervisor because he wasn't big enough to get me in the back of his car alone. After some discussion and a couple of radio calls the supervisor gave me my license and apologized for the screw up. I know why the cop pulled me over. He didn't like the looks of a long haired biker. Thanks to the supervisor everything ended well. I have a lot of cop friends. Not every cop I know is a friend. I don't trust a cop any more than I do any other person that I don't know.

You are both missing the point... This was not about an individual officer. This is supposed to prove how racist white police officers in America are, and how they hate black people so much, they target them for violence.

Geez... Get with the program.

I don't know that most Whites would act that way, but it is certainly the way I suspect would be best for those concerned

I think "laid a hand on" is closer to what happpened than "tried to choke."

Public school teachers have been sued or fired for touching a disrespectful minority child so legally if the neighbor even touched the child he will probably lose in a legal proceeding

And maybe the FWPD will agree that the policeman was not as sensitive and sympathetic to rhe woman as he could be.

But what is it with black people that so many minor incidents involving them end up with fisticufs, arrest or homicide?

If I think a cop on the street has acted improperly I'm not going to totally lose my self control and begin cursing him - which is a crime

or fighting with him - which is just plain stupid to the extream

Why did the girl jump between the cop and the woman and try to hold the woman back?

She was trying to keep mom from jumping on the cop

Acting like some white people don't do the same is pretty stupid. Stop acting like specific examples reflect on the entire race.

As far as this situation she had every right to be upset due to the actions of both the neighbor and that cop. I'm not even a parent and I can fully understand her outrage in this and actually believe given the situation she was rather controlled. I typically give cops the benefit of doubt but I don't see how anyone can watch that video and actually defend his actions.

Why not when race hustlers like obama and the lib media are presenting every event as white racism against black people?

What action was there by the cop before the black woman started cursing and yelling at him?

The answer is none

The racism in this incident came from the black woman and her family who were making comments about the "white man"

They were the only ones I heard bringing skin color into the situation.

And if they had acted more rationally no one would have been arrested

I agree with you on the fact the identity politics from the left is annoying and causes more problems than fixing them. I just get sick of seeing conservatives falling into the same tactics. You lose any claim of outrage over it when you resort to the same tactics.

As far as this incident I never claimed his actions were racially inspired. I don't know him or pretend to know what is in his head. However, from the video it is clear that the officer was a dick. I stand by my statement that she had every right in that situation to be furious. First, the neighbor should have never put his hands on someone else's child. She did the right thing by calling the cops rather than attempting to settle things herself. She was the victim in this altercation so when the cop had the nerve to question her parenting skills and then to ask why it was not ok to for the neighbor to grab her son it is my opinion she was much more controlled than what I (and most people I know) would have been.

Unless something more comes out later, from the video and information that we currently have I just don't see how anyone can watch that video and defend his actions.

I watched the same video as everyone else posting here and my take is a little different

In the first place why were the police called to begin with?

This reminds me of black women who call 911 because they didn't get as much shrimp in their fried rice as they expected

There are exceptions but every white person I know would have handled the incident neighbor to neighbor

But the cops were called and the black woman ends up getting arrested because she lost her composure and along with her daughter became physically confrontational with the cop

Again, most white people would have handled the situation differently and without getting arrested

What an ignorant and stupid post.

It is not a crime to curse a cop.

Every white person you know wouldn't call the police if their child was being manhandled by a neighbor? You seem to assume a lot about white and black people.

White cop tackles black mom after she called police for help | New York Post

If this cop misused his authority to kidnap people and help his friend or "kin" out instead of the victim then I'm all for enhanced x5 quintupled sentence because these rogue cops really need to be reigned in. Like that cop who just got sentenced to life in prison for tazing the handcuffed, non-fleeing person 12 times until they died. *applause* Every time a cop that is rogue gets away with crime it has the potential to make that whole family and maybe many more distrust the cops FOR LIFE. A cop rogue that abuses authority is 100 times more dangerous than a criminal who has no protection from the cops.

The story is so sensational I have a hard time believing it...and then I remember...people are ****ing morons. X

When two very opposite type clash -and neither wants to respect other - bad things happen.

Lets be real here. There are white cops who are authoritarian egomaniacs who think they are some combination of God and Wyatt Earp and everybody else better damn well bow down and acknowledge that. And throw in a racist streak and its a really bad combination.

Then there is a type of black woman - arrogant - loud - abrasive - pushy - demanding - "you ain't gonna do that to me" types who instantly get the hackles rising on the back of ones neck in reaction to that sort of showboating. And throw in some racist streak for her too.

Now you take those two types and smash them together and the results are not going to be good. Its a worst case scenario.... a perfect storm .... and things like this result.

The other man confessed to the assualt right in front of the cop. The woman was arrested because most cops hate Black people.

I wouldn't even go that far. I would Suspect he knows the asshat.

One thing is surprising...the neck grabber is alive. You put a hand on my child like that? Expect the wrath of God to come down upon you. You don't touch someone else's kid.

That cop needs re-training. Or firing.

I would say that if this story is true as told, then the cop needs to be fired and brought up on charges from false arrest to assault.

Right? I don't even know why we allow black people in this country....

Arrested for resisting arrest.

What. The. F-word.

Hey, you can't have the highest jailed population per captia if you don't arrest people! We're #1!
