Mississippi Churchgoer Arrested in 'Vote Trump' Arson

Yup. The story you linked to was mentioned in the article I posted.

What really bothers me is how these fake hate crimes get a lot of attention from the media when they initially take place, but when they are discovered to be "fake" get very little attention at all. This leaves countless people across the country not only believing that all these "hate crimes" are actually occurring, but shields them from the despicable behavior of the people who are deliberately trying to sow the seeds of division and hatred in our society, just to advance their political agenda.

See NonoBadDog's post (#16) as well as this great article:

Hate Crimes, Hoaxes, and Hyperbole

Your own link contradicts the erroneous narrative you outlined in the OP of a wave of hoaxes involving alleged Trump supporters allegedly committing hate crimes:

"The picture that emerges isn't a wave of hoaxes, a wave of attacks on minorities by Trump-emboldened bigots, nor a wave of attacks on Trump supporters by intolerant liberals—though all have occurred—but something more complex and, hopefully, a little less frightening, even if the stories that have happened are still horrible."

Perhaps you should review the OP.

I was reffering to your comment, just covering some recent ones. You appear to be in denial as to the number of bs claims of "hate crimes".

Your own link contradicts the erroneous narrative you outlined in the OP of a wave of hoaxes involving alleged Trump supporters allegedly committing hate crimes:

What "erroneous narrative"? Is it not true that a lot of these alleged hate crimes have been found out to be fabrications?

The article I referenced even points this out.

And I agree with the article. Both sides have a tendency to blow things out of proportion than they really are, a sentiment I expressed before in a thread I made previously.

Of those 7, only two are actual demonstrated hoaxes, 1 and 3. You should read your own link before you embarrass yourself like this.

I don't care if you want to parse them out as hoaxes or crimes. You only do that to spin your idiotic premise. Your first idiotic post:
Yeah there's been like three of them!!

I found 7 in thirty seconds. There wasn't any digging involved. Let me help you out. Seven is more than three. Maybe I can make it easier for you. I will type 7 (seven) ones for you. 1111111 Now I will type 3 (three) ones for you. 111. I will type them next to each other. 1111111 111. Notice how the line of seven number ones is longer than the line with three ones? That means that seven is more than three.

I also noticed you didn't include the article that TG posted. I will post the link again. It lists 17 (seventeen) incidents. 3 (111) 7 (1111111) 17 (11111111111111111)

Not only are you the one that looks foolish but you look dishonest also.

The fake ones are always maximised to minimise the real thing, like with rape.

So it is irrelevant that this case was maximized to try and exploit more anti trump rhetoric, and of course, condemn all non lock step democrats as racist.

I decided to investigate the incidents listed in that article from Reason and here's what I found.

Of the 16 reports of violence/racism by Trump supporters listed in the article, and the other 3 listed in this article linked to by the author (19 total) I found that:

1 - Corroborated
3 - Uncorroborated
1 - Wasn't sure how to classify
1 - No clear political motive
13 - Hoax/untrue

Of the 6 reports of violence by democrats against Trump supporters listed in the article, I found that:

5 - Corroborated
1 - Uncorroborated
0 - Hoax/untrue

A whopping 68% of the reported racist and violent acts by Donald Trump supporters were hoaxes that were flat out false, with only 10% being corroborated (if I include the one I didn't classify). While on the flip side, 5 of the 6 incidents (83%) reported of the left attacking the right because of their support for Trump are corroborated and not one instance of a hoax.

I think that really says it all.

Lol, i'm glad you can count. I was responding to this post by TG, you know, the OP. Hopefully, you bothered to read it, but you clearly you forgot, so here's the relevant bit:

So this seems to be another staged "hate crime" that was supposed to be from Trump supporters... considering how many of these so-called hate crimes over the recent few months that have been found to be hoaxes, I think that pretty much confirms it...

Hopefully, you understood that. The context is hate crimes that are supposed to be from Trump supporters, but turn out to be hoaxes.

Thanks in advance for the apology you owe me.

The erroneous narrative that so many alleged hate crimes by alleged Trump supporters turn out to be hoaxes, that we can safely speculate that any subsequent reports are hoaxes.

It's really quite wonderful for them, all the right wing has to do is repeat the same two or three examples ad infinitum and their readers become ideologically immunized against any actual crimes that might be committed.

I don't think you understand what it going on here.

What's really sickening is that the fact that this was fake will not be publicized like it was originally and that even when people find out that it was fake it won't make a difference. It will still be treated as a real thing in their minds.

What's really sickening is how much your statement applies to benghaziemailgate.

That's not even comparable and has nothing to do with this thread. I've found it becoming a common theme among the liberal posters here where they think bringing wholly unrelated things into the topic to try and bolster a weak position.

So this seems to be another staged "hate crime" that was supposed to be from Trump supporters. I already had suspicions that it could be a staged hate crime when this story originally came out, and when considering how many of these so-called hate crimes over the recent few months that have been found to be hoaxes, I think that pretty much confirms it.

Thoughts? Comments? Speculation?
As I recall, there were several pre - election incidents that we were strongly considering that the perp would likely be "false flag"

They should be charged to the full extent of the law.

Agreed.

It's exactly the same. The lies did more damage than debunking could salvage.

The misunderstanding is on your part. You take responsibility.

A lie will not save you. You should know what happened by now. You didn't read, understand, or remember the OP when you responded to my post. My post was specific about alleged Trump supporters committing hate crimes that turn out to be hoaxes.

Now, you still have yet to apologize or take responsibility for your misunderstanding. I would suggest that you do so.

I will take your suggestion in advisement.

Thought about suggestion (for a whole 5 seconds) and determined that is as idiotic as the rest of your post. Thanks for caring.
