Congress doesn't have to get involved. The DOJ can just start busting folks who harbor illegal aliens. See how long those cities remain sanctuaries after some folks go to prison.

Pelosi wants the sanctuary cities, which are subsidized by the Federal government. She also wants to be House minority leader - and the House controls spending. If I add 2 + 2 will I get the correct answer to what the future holds for this Country.....?

Part of the agreement for the grant funds was to cooperate with federal LEOs in regards to immigration. Those cities signed that agreement. Most of the cities have passed a law where their officers won't cooperate with immigration authorities. The DOJ, under Obama, has already sent warnings to these cities to either cooperate or they wouldn't receive funds. It doesn't take any legislation. It's already there.

Good answer--DEMs won't change the RED part of this country until the issue of sanctuary cities is dealt with. The GOP is actually doing DEMs a favor. That's how out of touch with reality DEMs are .

GOPs never sleep when it comes to the next election. You guys saved 22 of 24 Senate seats and didn't gain any from DEMs.

In 2018, DEMs have 25 to save and you only have 8--only trump can save us.

Not likely with McConnell .

Aiding our Islamist enemies by cutting off all Federal security funding to large sanctuary cities, would be an act of treason.

But maybe NY and other cities could still afford it, if they simply cut all funding for trump's security when he pays a visit.

No security barriers, no motorcades, no closed intersections, no closed highways, etc.
