The Israeli Air Force struck and killed a cell of terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State group in Syria after shots were fired across the border at Israeli forces in the Golan Heights on Sunday morning, according to initial reports.

In addition to the gunfire shots, a mortar shell from the Syrian side of the Golan also landed in Israeli territory.
There were no reports of injury to the Israeli side.
