Trump doesn’t want to give up his Fifth Avenue penthouse

Yes it does, it says that he's new and finds comfort in his current surroundings, LIKE EVERY OTHER HUMAN. So why don't you buzz off?

No it doesn't refute the fact that he is affecting millions for his selfish needs instead of residing at the White House or at least somewhere not as populated as downtime which affects MILLIONS at a time. Nothing you have said refutes ANYTHING I've said, so why don't YOU buzz off since you can't refute anything I've said. Change your name while you're at it.

Look, I get that you hate Trump, and even if he lived in Wyoming that you still bitch about this. I got it, man.

As usual, you are wrong. I had no problem with Bush (other than the cost of the refit of his home) and same with Obama. Again, you can't refute anything I say so just stop responding pal. You've got nothing sonny.

It's called a helicopter. They have wings that spin on top that help go by air.

Helipads were banned in NYC after 9/11. Is he going to repel down a rope?

Lol, when I got a job in Phoenix, guess what I had to do? Relocate.

I know that Trump think's he's better than the rest of us but he's not.

Actually Obama thinks that.

What reason would you attribute to Trump running for President? To be blunt, why would anyone want the job?

Time will tell about Trump's reasons for wanting to be POTUS. He spoke about helping common Americans, so we'll see. If he doesn't follow through on the tenets of his campaign, I'll be the first to call him out on it.

Being president is a job probably 1% of people could handle.

Didn't Bush set some kind of record for being away? Not that it matters, Cheney was running the show.

Away, yes. Not vacationing all that time like Moore-on claimed. There was something like a 3 week stint that he conducted business at his ranch, and Camp David, and other locations while the Oval Office was being remodeled.

Shutting down the airspace while he flies hither and yonder will disrupt air traffic too.

Why don't you gripe about one of the real problems? You don't think that there are important issues with Trump?

Well Trump said hue led a separate life from his first wife and she raised the kids. If his current wife wants to lead her own life (she probably is already) what difference does it really make? She can fly in for dinners or "appearances".

Wherever the President is--Camp David, a Texas ranch, or Trump Towers--he's still the President.

Trump has a 10-year old kid, and his wife doesn't want to disrupt the kid's life and yank him out of his school. What's the problem?

Who complained when Bush flew to Texas, or Obama went golfing?

The right had their collective hair on fire about Obama's golf outtings. **** their diapers actually.

No doubt they will rail on the king cheeto when plays as well. :lamo

He needs the protection due to liberal thugs trying to killing him.

And NYC needs to tell him to pay the costs or he and his family can pound sand. It won't be willing to incur costs of $1 million a day indefinitely.

Well some of the right did, just like some of the left have become complete morons about this matter. Yip we provide very expensive protection for our POUTUS and his family and always will regardless the party affiliation. No need to join the idiots and Lemmings crying hysterically about a basic reality of politics. Unless you are just dying to do that, in which case shriek away!

Other Presidents have kept their homes and/or vacation homes, that is true. And as a concept there is nothing wrong with that. But, none have done so in the center of Manhattan in the 21st century. The kind of disruption that security for a POTUS would cause on a daily basis is, if nothing else, extremely rude and inconsiderate to the nearby people and businesses that will be disrupted on a continuous basis.

Trump is a PATRIOT, and this is important.

In an age where the Obama people decide to spend $800,000 PER ROUND of projectile for the USS Zumwalt and her two sister ships till some rational people objected all this outrage needs to be kept in perspective.

Leave Trump be, he has a lot of work to do.

THANK. YOU.

Yup. Trump Tower is condominium complex with commercial space. The people who live there are going to have to live significant inconvienece, the businesses in the building and on the block are going to take a financial hit.

I get wanting to sleep in your own bed at night but Trump should be looking to be considerate to his neighbors and minimize the hassles he's going to subject them to every time he's there.
