It shows me that Hillary had an advantage in EC votes going into the race and that Trump has to win all, or almost all, the Swing States to win and that tells me he is the one that needs to make a miracle comeback to win. I would say that I have as much, if not more, experience at this than the vast majority of posters here, and have not missed a prediction since McGovern who I predicted would win, picked based on heart and not head, never did that again. This time I think Hillary has it in the bag, but one can never tell 100%, but that Trump made the race far closer than anyone expected and that means that the GOP, along with the DNC later, will be going through some major changes, soon.

Anyway, in my opinion, we are scre*ed no matter who wins, and that things are going to get far worse before they get better, if they ever do. I do not envy the very young on what sort of future we are leaving them, buts who knows maybe they will get it right one day, I doubt I will be around to see that.

Many experts (including Sabato and Silver) said Trump only needs to win a handful of swings and flip 1 or 2 "Lean Dem" states (like Michigan and Pennsylvania) to win it.

He won't get Michigan and the GOP has a few states that are tittering on the edge of going to Hillary. Trump has the harder task here and while he make it closer than anyone predicted I do not see him pulling out the win, but who knows, look at those Cubs, never say die.

I hate to say this, but i agree with you.

I hate the "lesser of 2 evils" BS just as much as anybody. It's too bas the Libertarians had to come up with a tongue-wagging pothead.

I don't really care if she lives or dies, if she wins the election they'll just have another left wing marxist/socialist/racist/statist step in for her to continue the destruction. Doesn't really matter, other than hearing that finger nails-down-the-blackboard voice.

And, of course, since it's Hillary, she's seen stumbling, collapsing, needing help up stairs... and we know nothing. She's fine, is what her camp says. Don't expect any less if she wins.

Actually I have no doubt she's going to win, been saying it for weeks. I just think you people have no idea what you're doing.

Imagine the optics of Hillary shutting down all investigations and stacking the DOJ and the FBI with her corrupt cronies and Obama firing Comey and promoting McCabe to the directors position.

The DNC couldn't have chosen a more damaged candidate, a candidate with more baggage going in that HRC and its naive to think all this stops when she takes the oath of office.

I actually had no idea who Joe Cocker was until i first heard of him in a riff on MST3K, UI looked him up and got the joke (the joke was in relation to a scene in a zombie movie, relating to Joe's spastic movement style).

It just seems pretty weak to be involved in a discussion and jump out of it because of the thread topic. I thought you just found it hard to defend what they've been saying about her health vs. what we've actually seen happening.

Well, I can't really argue with your logic here even if I feel a bit differently.

I am open to the possibility he brings positive change. I don't think any of us really know, and we each have our own risk/reward tolerance. I do fear what he may do to the economy though. Of everything, this last is my biggest fear; we've suffered far too much in the last crash.
