Hillary Clinton Demands FBI Release Newly Discovered Anthony Weiner Emails

I'm not 100% sure about her decision, but can see her thoughts here.

She wants everything out on the table, and if nothing much there (what I suspect), she moves on.

If nothing gets released, she then declares the matter closed and moves on.

But it could back-fire: She does not want this to go back-and-forth, and dominate the last 10 days of the election.

My gut says there's nothing of criminal consequence there, to begin with. WikiLeaks hasn't sunk her, and the FBI found nothing worthy of criminal prosecution with her other plethora of emails, so there's little likelihood of problems with the few she had with Huma.

So all-in-all, it's probably a reasonably good gambit on her part.

Well, not exactly. Anyone under investigation would love the FBI to just lay out all the information they have before an indictment. The FBI wouldn't do that, and she knows it, because doing so closes avenues of investigation. She made a request that she knows the FBI can't fulfill.

Well - I was speaking to the efficacy her ploy here in political terms, and working under the assumption the FBI wouldn't release the email.

But yes, I believe you are right.

Well, Hillary could END that speculation really quick like. Call a Press conference and reveal the content of those emails yourself. Of-course she may not remember or they may not be from her.

Easy solution. Hillary, GO ASK HUMA, YOUR CLOSEST ADVISER what was on her computer, then relay the contents of the emails to the American people. How ironic that Hillary. who set up this rogue server to begin with now wants full disclosure " because the American people demand it " :lamo

Can you believe this **** Cardinal ??

So was Bill doing Huma?

Yes, all Comey did was provide vague innuendo, low on content but ripe for speculation!

It was a lousy release!
But what should he have done?

But what should he have done?
What has always been done: Release when you have facts, and don't untill you do - especially prior to an election.

Does anybody know about the "Lolita Express?" Something about Hillary being a demon pedophile and child rapist?????

????

I am aware that you disagree on the number of emails. I am explaining that the number of emails they have yet to look at is irrelevant.

Do you actually have a problem with that, and if so, can you explain why ?

Because people generally don't have 650k worth of personal emails, it stands to reason many of them are work related.

That's exactly what he did. that fact is- he found new emails which were pertinent to the investigation.

On Oct. 28, the FBI director sent a three-paragraph letter to Congress that said FBI investigators, during the course of an unrelated investigation, found “the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent” to its prior investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of State. The letter said the FBI will review those emails “to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.”

Comey wrote that “the FBI cannot yet assess whether this material may be significant” or how long the review will take.

Fact check: Comey's vague letter sparks partisan distortions

{the USA today is wll known to be a DNC house organ so I don't give any credibility to their fact checking- I just lifted that quote from there}

You know full well had he not sent that letter, the info would have been leaked which would have made things way worse.

Hillary Clinton Demands James Comey Release Newly Discovered Anthony Weiner Emails

:lamo

You first Hillary. You know whats in those Emails, so why not call a Press conference tomorrow and fill everybody in ??? And I thought Huma Abedin was under subpoena ???

Why wouldn't Huma Abedin offer up willingly all these pertinent Emails to the FBI when they were doing their initial investigation ?? I remember telling my kids that lies breed more lies and eventually it gets near impossible to keep up with everything.

Did Hillary as a child miss this very important life lesson ?
So Hillary "demands" that the FBI release certain e-mails to the public ...

Hillary, what if the e-mails contain high security information? Do you not yet get it that you just can't wave certain information around in the air?

And, by the way, who are you anyway to "demand" that an investigatory government agency release sensitive information to the public? Are you currently an office-holder with some degree of relevant authority?

And, yes, Hillary, since you know they won't release information either upon your demand or .. if it's security sensitive .. you can puff up your chest and demand this or that as if you supposedly "know" there's nothing security sensitive in the material ..

.. When you know there really is security sensitive information contained therein and this is yet another way you're just lying to the public by feigning "outrage", hoping no one will ever realize that you're either a stupidly careless .. or deliberate .. security risk.

Oh, and by the way, Hillary, the next time you choose a top aide, try to pull from American citizenry, and not from a radical Islam foreign country base which is the origin of your pet Huma Abedin.

I see what you're getting at here.

But there was not enough factual understanding to have done the release.

It's a matter of opinion, and if you disagree - fine with me.

But as to leaks, well maybe rather than have rogue individuals determine bureau actions, we should follow proper protocol and secure the process including the proper punishment for those that break it. What's wrong with that idea?

And when is it right to bow to political pressure vs doing the right thing?

Isn't it a reasonable question to ask why Hillary is all of a sudden in such a rush about emails?
I mean, wasn't it her stalling, slow walking, stonewalling, etc, etc, etc, that drug it out to this late date?
So why, all of a sudden, is she in such a hurry?
(Rhetorical questions - we all know why)

From my view, the response should be at the same pace as what she delivered emails. After all, isn't what fairs is fair?

I think you have a valid point here.
