I think you are giving the general populace too much credit in their give a f about the emails. They don't.
 
Let the fate of Clinton rest in Clinton's hands (even if it was her past hands), but wouldn't it be nice if Assange could stop the facade that he's interested in justice?

I'm not especially familiar with him as a human being, but I do like his on-the-issues page. I also have to admit that it would be nice if the next four years weren't devoted to congressional investigations.

Perhaps the FBI (finally) did what anyone else should have done a long time ago: compare HRC's "complete" work related emails to those of a few choice State Department employees using the proper .gov server - if any additional emails to/from HRC's server are found in those .gov accounts then HRC definitely lied under oath and/or destroyed evidence.

Normally I wouldn't put much faith in these prognostications from Assange, but in light of the recent decision by the FBI to re-open her case, there may be something to it.

I doubt the FBI acted without informing the White House before going public. After all, this is the administration's candidate. And with the lag time involved in such investigations, its greatest impact will be to discredit allegations of tampering and rigging.

Now they're saying these Emails came from Anthony Wieners and Huma Abdein's elctronic devices and they number in the thousands.

The " unrelated '' case seems to be the FBI investigation into Wieners sexting to a 15 year old girl.

I've heard its a smoke screen to block out the damage from the Wikileaks dumps but wow, what a terrible strategy.

That's not the worst you can get, by a long shot. I'm old enough to remember what your country went through after Nixon got reelected in 1972. You don't want another sitting President under that scenario.

If there is anything to what Assange has to disclose, it's a bloody disgrace that he's leaving it this late in the US election process to release it. I had some sympathy for the man at one time, but no more.

Considering how he releases the emails without sorting them by relevance, I don't think he knows what is in the emails.

Yeah, kinda happens one party colludes and puts the most criminal and most corrupt establishment candidate before electorate, and the electorate being angry as hell at the establishment.

I'm almost of the mind that if Clinton is elected she should step down and let Kaine take over (I'm also of the mind that Trump should be the first passenger to Mars). The political climate is so poisonous that her departure would help to dial things down to "almost sane."

You can't run a country that's operating on this kind of mojo.
